I think the Donald long time ago said something about if the GOP screws him over, he will run as Independent.

Of course, The Rump's idea of being "screwed over" is any scenario in which he doesn't win. My prediction is that he will run as an independent if he doesn't end up with the GOP nomination, even if he loses fair and square. That was the plan all along.
