NEW YORK Score one for the Trumpster.
Back in June, when the city's bungled, six-year effort to renovate the Wollman Ice-Skating Rink in Central Park was $12 million over budget with no end in sight, real-estate tycoon Donald Trump stepped forward. Just give the project to me, he said, and I'll finish the rink by Christmas. This Christmas. And for free.
"I have total confidence that we will be able to do it," Trump said at the time. "I am going on record as saying that I will not be embarrassed."
Yesterday morning, in a gala ceremony down in the sunken, tree-shrouded gulch just off Central Park South, Trump unveiled his completed rink - the ''largest man-made skating rink in the world," glistening with a mirror- perfect sheath of virgin ice.

This is why the prospect of a Trump administration frightens the establishment so much: with less money going into the trough, there is less to slop over for them.

less money for the corrupt and the connected
Can you even imagine some business sense showing up in Washington?
Mind boggling concept.

Stories like this used to fill me with hope. After the past week or so I want to cry a little.
Don’t forget that Trump’s pastor was Rev Norman Vincent Peale..’The Power of Positive Thinking’... Its based on what Jesus said, ‘as a man thinks in his heart, so is he’.
The corruptocrats in DC want their back slapping what’s in it for me shady deals to be undisturbed by so lofty a pursuit as getting the job done efficiently and successfully like Trump would bring. I despise them much.
And many of those ‘public servants in DC’ are or leave their positions as multi-millionaires with a ton of perks and bennies. More like the public serves them.
At least Trump appears genuine that he’s working for us. We will hold him to this however should he serve as president.
Bingo!
Failure is not an option for Trump. He will do what he says he will do. I so hope he gets the nomination because I’ll vote for him whether he is on the ticket or not.
How do you propose we do that? Pitchforks and torches at the White House?
