The main reason I don't get sucked into conspiracy theories is that my own brain creates them so easily that they never truly impress me. They're usually built on taking a few coincidences or lapses in data, and combining these with sinister motives presumed a priori.
But this is still just plain "ick."
A lot of alternative news sources are covering the fact that the Temple of Baal, destroyed by ISIS, will not only be rebuilt, but "temporary" facsimile structures will be built in New York, London and elsewhere.

You probably have read news reports about how saddened the world archeological community was about it destruction. By calling it the "Temple of Bel," the news reports prevented its name from ringing bells in the minds of people who are more familiar with the spelling, "Baal."
"Baal," is a fairly generic Semitic name, meaning "Lord." But the Bible uses it widely to refer to pagan gods, as opposed to "Adonai," the word used for "Lord" in reference to the Christian God. As such, it takes on a distinctively demonic connotation, becoming associated with human sacrifice, reversion to Barbarism, etc. Bel, for instance, is the god that the Israelites were forced to worship in the book of Daniel.
If Bel/Baal is somewhat of a common noun, rather than a proper one, the most common deity it refers to is Marduk, the Golden Bull or Utu, or Taurus.
What most of these sources missed is that the Gates of Bel will be erected in New York on April 19. In tropical astrology, the Earth enters Taurus on April 20. Yes, that's supposedly a key date in Wicca, Satanism, etc. (No, I'm not calling Wicca Satanism.)
It's also Primary Day in the home state of Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders and, adoptively, Hillary Clinton.
Other events associated with April 19 include:
The defeat of the Byzantine Empire in Ar Raqqa, Syria.
The rejection of the Diet of Wyrms.
The battle of Lexington and Concord.
The massacre at the Branch Davidian compound
The Oklahoma City bombing
The return of the Bundestag to Berlin
and most ominously, the premiere of the Simpsons as a short on the Tracy Ullman Show.
You are correct. I had to look it up, because I had never heard of this.
He also called it "filthy", and said he "wouldn't shake hands with anyone from San Fransisco. "
“Letm laugh. Innocent as most believe, our God commands us NOT to do this sort of stuff. The argument isn’t with the holy rollers, it is against God.
You either believe, or you don’t. Pretty simple. “
Then was it a good thing that ISIS blew up that old temple in the ruins of Palymyra?
ISIS destroyed it, and you say it was a good thing. You said it was a triumph of good over evil. Someone else also pointed it out. You essentially equated ISIS to ‘good’. Did your god command ISIS to do it?
Thanks. I am one of “us” also. I get what your saying, but as I’m sure you know, ridicule, well, it kinda goes with the territory doesn’t it? ;^)
As far as building replicas of this temple, I’m not aghast by it but it does give me pause just a little. Having said that, I really need to do more research.
As far as being painted as an ignorant hick........people have thought that about me since WAY before I was born again. lol!
It’s very weird.
Older than you. But you didn’t answer. You said it was a victory of good that the Temple in Palmyra was blown up. I asked if you think the Pyramids, the Sphinx, the Parthenon, and Stonehenge should be blasted too.
All were fully as lewd, crude, and pagan as it gets. Im waiting for your answer.
I think if your goal is to wake people up to the threat posed by Islam, wouldn't focusing on the people they rape torture and kill be more compelling?
And when the Taliban blew up those statutes of Buddha in Afghanistan, where was the move to build replicas of those in New York and London?
Ok, I’m totally with what you said in that post. And I would like to see a replica also of the church of Jonah. It was also blasted.
And as for the ignorant hick, im right there with you. I just hate when its harder to win souls because people think it means you have to support every nutty theory out there.
Get tired of cringing everytime some self anointed blog-preacher opens his mouth.
Wouldn't Dachau, or Auschwitz be a better comparison?
Vile acts were committed in Baal temples. My understanding is that part of their ceremony includes the burning alive of children.
Though I wouldn't suggest we destroy it ourselves, I find myself unable to shed a tear upon hearing of the destruction of such a vile place.
In the list of things for which ISIS needs to be destroyed, blowing up remnants of evil temples should be far down the list.
People did indeed do things to raise awareness of those Buddhas.
Congratulations. You your ISIS honorary membership card is in the mail.
“What IS significant is this period encompasses the entirety of Pesach, when certain spiritual windows open.”
To me, that’s nonsense.
Certain people may believe stuff like that who are non-Christian or anti-Christian.
There is no Biblical basis for any of it.

I hear rumors that in the coliseum in Rome they tortured and murder Christians. That think needs to come down. Of course, you would need the moral evasion of not doing it yourself, but just being pleased that it was done.
That old temple as you describe it was a temple for worshiping satan. You ask a Christian if it was a good thing to destroy the temple baal?
If God wanted it destroyed, He will use whatever means to that end. It was God's will.
It is satan who will influence men to rebuild it as a rebuke to God.
The question now should be how God will respond having the temple of satan reconstituted in an American city. Hmmmm.
I may have missed it, but I don't see any "celebration" over ISIS destroying Baal temples. More like dismay that anyone would feel the need to replicate them in New York or London. What is up with that?
And its rather ironic. Diogenes consulted oracles. Maybe you are in league with the occult too? After all, non Christian antiquities should be destroyed. Thats the argument im seeing.
It appears your form of rebuttal tends toward the Argumentum Ad Ridiculum. I would have thought a man who supposedly supports rationality over superstition would put forth better arguments than "appeal to ridicule."
What you may not grasp is the fact that much of the left and the society which they influence, is grasping around for things regarded as "Satanic", or "Demonic", not because they have any actual "supernatural" power, but because they represent a rejection of all things which have historically been considered "normal."
That this tendency of theirs to gravitate towards those historic symbols of evil informs us as to their eventual hoped for societal destinations.
All the signs of which I have been aware point to a desire on their part to kill off a large number of us humans.
Certainly Socialism has been responsible for the most murderous regimes in history save for the Islamists.
I point out the Malthusian attitudes of Liberals in general, and this "Satanic" stuff is just a psychological vehicle they want to use to get where they are going, but we won't like where they are going regardless of the trappings they put on it.
Well done. They may scoff, but the void has been created. God is now removed from public places and even ridiculed. Profaning the name of Christ is increasing in intensity. And now that the void has been created, these seemingly inconsequential events are beginning to gain traction in our culture.
Can you even imagine a television show titled Lucifer even 10 years ago?
The mockers will come and tell us, “all is well” and you are simpletons and fools for believing this has any consequence... as we slip further into the abyss.
That's good because they hate that.
There is a complete reproduction of the Parthenon with a statue of Athena in Nashville TN.

I don’t know if anyone fell down in fits upon hearing about it.
People did indeed do things to raise awareness of those Buddhas.
Well good on him, but I cannot help notice that for whatever reason his efforts escaped my attention, and that these Baal temple replicas apparently need to be recreated in New York and London.
Why should the Baal temples stuff appear to be more widely known and have more influence here in the US instead of over in Syria where it belongs?
