He's disparaged his own Republican leader as a liar and dismissed fellow senators as part of the "Washington cartel." But now, with his presidential prospects hanging in the balance, Ted Cruz is moving closer than ever to the D.C. establishment.
Directly and through surrogates, the Texas senator is aggressively reaching out to his Senate colleagues as he prepares for the possibility of a convention floor fight against Donald Trump. And Cruzs emissaries on Capitol Hill are now signaling to senior Republicans that Cruz would be willing to work with them as the GOP nominee in a way Trump would not.
So far, Cruz can tout only two Senate endorsements, from conservative Mike Lee and the deal-making centrist Lindsey Graham. But Senate Republicans are now at least listening to an intensified pitch from Cruz and his allies: That hes a far more stable choice for the top of the ticket and for the GOP's hopes of keeping the Senate.

>>hes supposed to put his faith and trust in the American people instead of the Washington Cartel.
What would that faith look like?
You are going in circles...You’re dismissed....
>>Then why is the establishment elites and
>>the media trying so damn hard to destroy him???
Because it’s an entertaining distraction that misdirects the sheeple’s attention away from considering, and correcting, the root effects of amoral apathy.
Q: What would that faith look like?
A: { crickets, crickets, crickets }
You dismiss yourself.
I am not voting for any globalist and GOPe donor shill. More of the same is not my cup of tea.
Coming together is no longer on the table. Too many dirty tricks to just forget about it.
Maybe Bernies voters will recognize how wonderful Ted is.
yep
yep
Win-win for the GOP Establishment because the same will be true for Hillary. They’re angling for 100% coverage. This is why Jebby was so confident DT would not be the nominee. Prepare for the brokered convention with this guy or Paul Ryan as the nominee. I’d love to be proven wrong. Guess we will see.
2012 was the final straw for me, too. Up until recently, I was somewhat undecided. But now the GOPe has used their machine for Ted Cruz and we are going to be right back where we started in 2012.
History repeats itself.
I jumped on Trump’s bandwagon because I figure he’s too rich to be bought off and there’s not too many skeletons in his closet or they would have been brought out by now by his competitors.
After so many “tea party” candidates turned out to be frauds I refuse to accept anyone as an outsider if there’s an “R” after their name.
Cruz is the gope guy, bought and sold.
