Cruz cozies up to D.C. establishment
Politico ^ | 4/6/2016 | Katie Gluiek

He's disparaged his own Republican leader as a liar and dismissed fellow senators as part of the "Washington cartel." But now, with his presidential prospects hanging in the balance, Ted Cruz is moving closer than ever to the D.C. establishment. Directly and through surrogates, the Texas senator is aggressively reaching out to his Senate colleagues as he prepares for the possibility of a convention floor fight against Donald Trump. And Cruz’s emissaries on Capitol Hill are now signaling to senior Republicans that Cruz would be willing to work with them as the GOP nominee in a way Trump would not.

Exactly.

Trump always wins because only he can make the rules, even when he loses, but he never really loses...because he can change the rules every day.

Now he says the RNC rules are unfair to him, after he met Priebus a few days ago and had them explained to him.

After those ~ 30 million votes, better late than never :)

Let’s be honest we all knew this already. Ted is the Trojan horse candidate.

Trump has already been sold to the highest bidder. Every property he owns he has to secure financing. Many banks many on wall street own Trump.

I disagree about the skeletons for Cruz, all that has been proven is rumor and innuendo. However, if you look at Trump’s past you will see all that you despise a conservative.

Okay, prove it.

Cruz is a tool.

Absolutely. Whether or not he realizes it remains to be seen. I think he knows he's being used, but his raw ambition (probably augmented by delusions of being "the chosen one") clouds his judgement - just as it clouded his judgement when he agreed to take on the nutcase Glenn Beck.

It was just an intelligent guess. But you are free to advise us otherwise. Could be Bernie I guess. I doubt if it's Hillary or Kasich. Rubio perhaps or Jeb?

Ok perhaps, but it doesn’t explain how Heidi Cruz involvement with the CFR and the North American Union Report for which Ted stated they are vipers.

Okay, prove it.

Again with these ridiculous ontological demands for "proof".

Keep sitting in the pumpkin patch, waiting for the Great Cruz to arise at the convention. We promise not to laugh...

And let’s hope it will not work anywhere else. For example, there is a poll out of Penn. this morning showing Trump at 39 but Cruz has jumped up to 30 percent with the K man somewhere in the 20s.

Well, we’re lucky that Ted is running and not Heidi.

The thing is, Trump would be equally fine with losing, he will go back to making $, living his glamorous life; and he was fine with Hillary before, he will be fine with her as president.

This is a good reason to give him the job. He doesn't need it. All the other candidates, on both sides, would starve to death were it not for their gubmint jobs.

Why? Because what difference would it make? Hillary is Pres? oh no....They still have their Buffets, Their Crackers and Cheese and they get to go to Nine Rivers Country Club every Sunday, so shut up base.

I also read the GOPe thinks President Hillary is good for their fundraising. Good grief!

Feh. I don't announce my preferences - it's a fool's game. However, I've seen enough of Cruz to know he's 180 degrees out of phase from what he, his father and his campaign market himself to be.

I know Trump supporters toe this line: “The nature of the evidence is irrelevant*; it’s the seriousness of the charge that matters.”

History is a guide to the future. Cruz’s past indicates he will be a principled conservative when he is in the White House.

I am often truly amazed at the stupidity of your typical GOP voter. They almost always vote the way they are told to vote by the establishment and it's propagandists in the media. The one exception was Reagan. And that was only because Jimmy sucked so bad no one could stand him any longer.

We have one chance and only one chance to keep our constitutional republic for a little while longer and that is voting Trump. Every other candidate is a globalist that will sell out our sovereignty with unconstitutional trade deals. The uniparty, has done it before NAFTA, WTO and they will do it again, TPP.

Ted Cruz is fully on board with the globalist plan to replace our constitution republic with a depentent North American Union. His wife Heidi help write the CFR plan to do just that. Ted Cruz was the leader in the Senate for passing TPA and TPP. He ever wrote an op-ed in the WSJ urging congress to pass the unconstitutional trade deal. Anyone that can't not see Cruz is a globalist is intentionally blind.

Ted Cruz is also pro amnesty as long as there is no pathway to citizenship. However that is a con since Cruz knows full well that the courts, not to mention the Rats, will provide a pathway to citizenship at the first opportunity should Cruz get his amnesty.

Ted also supports the neocon nation building wars. Once again he is GOPer.

Well I hope you Cruzers are happy voting for an anti-American globalist. Should Ted get the nomination he likely loses to Hillary but even if elected there is not a lot of difference between Hillary and Ted so either way the globalists win. The only positive is that Ted would appoint more moderate judges than Hillary. While that doesn't mean much in the long run it might be enough to get Ted a few more votes in the general. But in the long run we still get over run by illegals, we still wage senseless wars and we still get gobbled up globalists intent on implementing their NWO. Or we could vote Trump.
