I’m not for Cruz any more than Trump. I just want to beat Hillary, or any other Dem.... and the Donald’s loose cannon mouth is talking himself out of the nomination... and if nominated, the general election... which is all that counts.
P.S. Old political rule; “Name calling and boorish behavior is like a very short time loan from a loan shark; it gets you something for a few weeks or months, but then, “the note” comes due... and the swing voters, who decide an election, hate the name callers/boors for it.
Trump’s consistent under-performance will cause more than a few delegates to doubt Trump’s chances in the General.... and if more than a few dozen desert him, he is finished.

If you really were neutral between Cruz/Trump you would be highly offended by the outrageous attacks Cruz has launched on Trump after the KKK episode, Chicago and Brussels.
IF Trump is “boorish” what is Cruz equating Trump (and defacto his supporters) with the KKK? Equating Trump “violent” rhetoric with violent communists? Equating Trump’s position on NATO with the terrorist attack?
The fact is Cruz has been far more incendiary against Trump than Trump has against Cruz. But he has near 100% top cover from the media and GOPe. You’d note that if you really were open to Trump.
Donald’s act took him far, but it reached the point where it became his poison. He needed to evolve as the campaign progressed and it didn’t happen.
Yup. When people lament the mistakes Trump makes or criticize the things he says, they leave out the media effect.
What if the media went 24/7 bashing Cruz for the stupid remarks he made about Trump voters? Or repeatedly demanded he disassociate himself from Glenn Beck and play over and over every stupid thing Beck has ever said then show him side by side stumping w Cruz? Or where was the endless media mocking of Cruz for the horrific press conference when Carly had to take over?
The Media still holds huge sway in influencing opinion. They could choose at any time to make Cruz their target and he would be gone in 60 seconds.
Hmm wonder why they don’t if he is such a true conservative feared by the Washington Cartel?
