What the hell has happened to him? That's kind of like the question Solzhenitsyn asked about the Stalin reign of terror. How was it, in a country known for its loyalty, did traitors all of a sudden start popping out of the woodwork, right and left, to the point where the Gulags couldn't hold them all?
