A few words tonight from my Congressman in PA who backs Trump...Not a major blow....
Yet the billionaire remains in the driver’s seat in the nomination race, maintaining a commanding lead over Cruz in the delegate count and holding on to a real chancealbeit less of one after Tuesday’s lossof collecting the 1,237 he needs to clinch the nomination before the Republican convention in July.
Trump also enjoys a 31-point lead in New York, which holds the next primary on April 19, and an 18-point lead in Pennsylvania, one of five states that follow a week later, according CBS News polls released Sunday. Ohio Governor John Kasich, who cannot win the nomination without a convention fight, finished a distant third in Wisconsin.
“This slows the momentum some, but it’s not a major blow,” said Representative Tom Marino, a Pennsylvania Republican backing Trump.
Still, Marino said he raised concerns with Trump about how to better organize the campaign and urged the candidate to reign-in his freewheeling style. Trump himself has noted his reluctance to tone down his campaign in recent weeks, telling crowds that his wife and daughter have both begged him to behave more “presidential” on the campaign trail. But Trump told audiences that he waved off those worries, saying he’s only fighting back against a party establishment that he believes is treating him unfairly.
“He’s had a bad week,” Marino said. “But tell me one person running for president, or Senate or city council who hasn’t had a bad week. Donald Trump isn’t used to being out on the campaign trail, but he’s taking the advice. You’ve already seen a more presidential Donald Trump. But sometimes you fall off the wagon.”
goodness... moving after half a century... .. wow.. but Tennessee is a great place (I went to grad school in Johnson City) and now you can join us when we try to meet up in Tenn... whenever.
Good luck. Moving can be stressful ... new horizons always great however.
Where were you in NY?
His wife and daughter told him to be more Presidential in the last DEBATE. Not in campaign rallys
A quick count was 950,000 Democrats voted, and 1,050,000 Republicans voted. Cruz was at about 519,000 votes, and Trump was at something like 376,000 votes, and Kasich had about 151,000 votes.
The gap increased to almost 100,000 votes between the two parties, with 99% counted.
I mentioned up thread that the attack by Trump on Walker was a tactical mistake. Add in the fact that this is Priebus and Ryan turf, and add in the self inflicted Trump miscues, plus the 24/7 (nonstop) attacks by the press- to include radio, television and print, and you’ve got the perfect storm. The fact that Trump got any delegates is the good news. ON TO VICTORY!
On the subject of voter fraud. Have you seen this video?

It comes via Bernie, still it freaks me out!
Great Tweet! NY will make Wisconsin fade away.
Better than nothing
Cruz fell slightly below expectations....but still a win no question
I agree attacking Walker was a mistake. But I think they thought they could shut him out there. Rinse, Walker and Ryan own Wisconsin.
Trump taking Ryan’s hometown of Janesville was a little thorn that will stick.
ONWARD AND UPWARD!!
I have lived for extended amounts of time in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Long Island.
Thank you for your good wishes!
I need to work another decade or less. Expect to always be doing something as long as I can. I’m already job hunting there..
Moving because we’ve always dreamed of that kind of environment, in many ways. The cost of living difference is also beyond belief. The people are great. I moved my extended fam down last year, so now we join them. I’ve been visiting every six weeks or so for long weekends and vacations, so am well familiar and totally comfy in area..
Wish Mr. DOE and I luck in our long car ride with our yowling cat companion!
We leave Saturday.
Oh my gosh, how I would LOVE to see Newt debate Cruz, that would be amazing!
I was out tonight, watching my Blackhawks win and am trying desperately to catch up around here. I won’t bother with the cruzettes and their bragging about his mighty win.
Did it turn out he ended up with less than 50% tonight??
Thanks
Somebody help me out, I’m not connecting the dots on this meme that it’s the beginning of the end for Trump - why wasn’t it that when teddy lost on Super Tuesday?
Here’s my new question to the cruzettes - does Teddy wear a bullet proof vest? Does he carry for protection? Is he surrounded by 12+ SS/bodyguards?? NO NO NO
Why not? Because the powers that be are now worried about him, at all! Gosh can people be any blinder??
He IS the establishment - being used or not, he’s one of them. All these trolls who are so crude with their namecalling/comments swore they were against the GOPe/establishment/media complex and now? THEY ARE IN BED WITH THEM! They make me sick!
Sorry, I’m late catching up and so po’d....had to rant
I remember the hinkey voting going on in WI before this, it was during the Walker recall bs. Back before Walker got bought by the Club for Growth, or at least before he revealed himself to be not what he appears.
Nonetheless, I signed on with that group ‘True the Vote’ and went through pages and pages of signatures the left had gathered to force the recall vote. So many fakes it was laughable and sad at the same time.
Remember, True the Vote was the lady who had the full force of our government come down on her, from the IRS to OSHA!
I’m all in Kit cat, we are bright enough to outsmart them with their dirty tricks.
I did sent my postcard to lyin Ryan yesterday, simply stating ‘Steal from Trump’ and no vote from me.
Cruz is a fraud through and through. Are there any threats on his life? Nope and we know why, the powers that be are not concerned about him, not one itty bit. Telling isn’t it?
Cruz ended up with 48%
Trump 35%
Thank you weston, I do appreciate that!
Not sure how or why I’m still up at 3am, but I’m so ticked off right now! Praying the entire nation isn’t as dull as WI when it comes to seeing through the games and fraud of Teddy.
But given the delegates that Trump has won in Wisconsin, teddy’s magic number towards painful elimination has grown closer.
WOW just wow I am BACK I could see yall but couldn’t sign in
Every one donate you have no idea what it is like to be on the outside looking in for a day or two...
