We could sell the good old 30 year bond again with low, low interest rates.

Each phase of sales would improve our nation’s real credit rating. In the end, we would have a huge rating and little or no debt.

Using bonds to purchase federal land is a brilliant idea. If they are sold for cash, that cash must be devoted entirely to debt retirement.
