Could you post a link to Trumps college records at Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania? I could not find them.
I did not know we couldn’t see Cruz’ college records, we got to see W.’s grades.
I thought it was just his and his mother’s INS files that were sealed.

The citizenship act then prevailing required the American parent of an offshore birth to have resided in the USA for at least 10 years, with 5 of them after the age of 14. Stanley Ann was only 18 when she gave birth -- insufficient to meet the five years after 14 requirement.

Canadian law is irrelevant with regards to deciding US Citizenship at birth. What is relevant is US law and Title 8 Section 1401 subsection G say Sen Cruz is a US Citizen, was born a US citizen, and has always been a US Citizen.
Her maiden name , as is the law even in Canada, does not appear on Raphael Cruz’s birth certificate.

The foreign-born child is not a citizen if the citizen parent does not meet the requirements of this statute. The foreign-born child is not a citizen by birth, the foreign-born child is a citizen by statute. A citizen by statute is a naturalized citizen.

Trump posted about 100 page of financials, Cruz had a million dollars of loans from two Wall Street banks and failed to disclose, he should be indited by FEC and pay fines.
When the IRS is auditing your Taxes its like a grand jury investigation, you don’t want to interfere with the IRS in any way that might backfire on your audit.
Hillary is blocking answering questions about dealings with the Clinton Foundation and potential conflicts of interest with her time as Secy of State.

Its silly to attack Cruz for not releasing his college records when Trump has also not released his records from University of the Pennsylvania. As for Trump and his bragging about his grades and class standing the only thing we know for sure is that he was never on the Dean’s List or the Honor Roll.
Well it is a good thing that Sen Cruz qualified as a US citizen from birth according to the very statute and subsection you cited.
Further, you assertion that a citizen by statute is a naturalized citizen shows how far off base your logic is. Re read the above law that you cited. Notice that the very same statue says that anyone born in the US and subject to the jurisdiction there of. They are citizens by statute and by your logic, also naturalized. And by extrapolation, your logic would have NO ONE qualifying as a NBC.
That is why the condition of birth (natural born i.e. without naturalization) is so important. Congress, under it’s authority of Article 1 Section 8 clause 4 to establish the “rules of naturalization” has codified that naturalization ONLY occurs after birth (Title 8 section 1101 - Definitions). If one is born a citizen, i.e. a citizen from birth, then one is a natural born citizen.
