Paul Ryan Emerging Out of Ted Cruz-Created Contested Convention as Nominee Dominate Wisconsin
Breitbart ^ | April 02, 2016 | JULIA HAHN

Posted on 04/03/2016 8:34:32 AM PDT by Hojczyk

As Capitol Hill aides have explained, amongst Washington’s GOP political class Ryan is regarded as the “Republican Jesus.”

Indeed, National Review, which helped put the third world migration enthusiast Paul Ryan into the Speaker’s office, seemed to embrace the idea of nudging him into the Oval Office. National Review’s deputy managing editor penned a piece entitled,

“Paul Ryan for President!” writing: “One can imagine a case where Trump and Cruz control 60 to 70 percent of the vote between them, and neither one will budge, and no other candidate or boss will consider helping either one. Then it will be time for a respected and inoffensive candidate to offer a contrast to all the strong personalities in the Republican race, and Ryan is nothing if not Mr. Acceptable.”

“Speaker Paul Ryan is emerging as the Republican’s biggest counterweight to Donald Trump,” The Hill wrote in January.

Since Trump’s philosophy is so opposite of Ryan’s, if Trump were to win Wisconsin, it would be seen as a wholesale rejection of Ryan Republicanism. Losing Wisconsin would be politically devastating for Ryan and would make it exceedingly difficult for him to emerge out of the contested convention. As such, Wisconsin is a must-win for Ryan via a proxy of his policy viewpoints, Ted Cruz.

Paul Ryan and corporate media have sought to frame the GOP Civil War of voters versus donors and donor proxies (i.e. Fox News, Republican publications, and various corporate-owned radio networks) as a battle waged over something as frivolous as candidates’ “tone” rather than the substantive policy divisions between the electorate and the Party’s corporate funders.

We have no choice. Vote for Trump, get him the delegates, or you get Paul Ryan.

It’s apparent that Cruz and his supporters are complicit in this nefarious plan.

>>We will never allow this theft. Never.<<

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I, as a voter, am PERSONALLY attacked by the “Never Trump” conspiracy within the so-called Republican Party.

This is to be expected from Democrats; but, I will NEVER FORGET the scumbags who are supposedly Republicans and who are attempting this back stabbing, this CHARACTER ASSASSINATION of the VOTERS.

It is too late for Cruz and you know it. 88% of the remaining? Do you honestly say it will do it? If so, explain how.

Every week it is a new scare tactic article with no real base in reality. It is like Trump voters need to have a new conspiracy theory to keep them fired up. Almost like feeding a cult the paranoia they need is the only way the campaign (using what media they control) can keep the fringe vocal followers worshiping their godhead.

However if Trump and Cruz are shafted, ballot downs will get slaughtered. The good, the bad and the ugly will get thrown out.

Very true.

The GOP wants to make the next President in their own image. They want to make this new President from their group and forever keep control over their candy store. They are corrupt to the core and we had better get our back up against this power wall and tear down this wall of power they have amassed right under our nose... a wall of power where they become millionaires using their corrupt inside deals, and taking money from special interest, and turning congress into an elite bunch of power for themselves... forgetting the people, destroying the constitution, building their power structure brick by brick, lie by lie, dollar upon dollar, judge by judge, bypassing our laws, never prosecuting their own, but seeing to it that the people are brought down peg by peg over the least of offense .. using the IRS to threaten and coerce, taking control over our health care to control the very aspect of our society that we have to have to survive, making political correctness the rule of the day, making muslims and their “religion” the most important to protect, and Christianity the least. If we are not thoroughly disgusted with the rulers of this United States of America... if we allow this to continue... God will let us fall further into oblivion. Our children will not have a future to compare to anything we might have had, and never be able to pay off the national debt.. and will see the day when this country is taken over by an aggressive enemy (perhaps even from within) because we have lost our founding and became a weak and defenseless country. All the while we waited for someone to save us all.. and there was no one available... the media destroyed any possibility of a good man wanting to run for the office of the President of the United States of America.

Since the article is coming from Beitbart, which is a Trump base site now....looks like they want to frame the election choices along with the other media sites.

Nobody knows what the convention will do or happen....it’s all speculation at best....the requirement for a winner at this juncture is Trump still has to reach the required delicate count and he’s not there yet. Once that’s determined either or then the game changes....

we have been telling the cruz supporters here that a vote for the contested convention is the vote for the cruz establishment and don’t be surprised when the party stabs cruz in the back.

They get everything they deserve if this happens as it was they which pushed and voted for this crap in the first place knowing cruz was done after FL and his failed campaign.

If this happens and Ryan becomes the GOPe nominee, the party will fracture and Hillary will become president by default. The Republican party will be no more as it once was......

I wouldn’t even call him a RINO, he’s more like a Democrat operative whose agenda is to get Democrats elected and give them everything they want.

Jim Robinson says Cruz should step aside...

Trump has a great shot at winning with the majority. Cruz has a tiny sliver of a chance. He should step aside.

“Then it will be time for a respected and inoffensive candidate to offer a contrast to all the strong personalities in the Republican race, and Ryan is nothing if not...” a weak personality easily molded into the perfect eGOP candidate that will willingly throw the election to Hillary.
