Would some Cruz people please tell me, and be specific with EV counts, what states would Ted Cruz win that Mitt Romney did NOT win in 2012, and get to a total of at least 270 EV's?
Blah, blah, blah.
“Blah, blah, blah”
The most intelligent response from you all day.
He’ll be the nominee or there will be hell to pay and the Republican Party will go the way of the Whigs.
!Trump can do whatever he pleases and America will be the BIGTIME loser because America will not exist anymore. We’ll simply be 1/3 of the North America “State” which will then be absorbed into the “Americas State” which will include all of South America and North America on a Global Level in which we will be diminished to a tiny little part having no say about anything in what was once OUR country. Take a look at the so called FREE Trade Deals. What is fair about them? We ARE the loser in every “Trade” deal made since WWII. Dumbasses will vote for whatever Globalist the “Party” picks and keep on hoping doing the same thing over and over will give a different result. What promises of 2012 or 2014 have been kept? NONE!
Winner !!!
But alas, it was not to be. He is not very popular nationally or in the party (complaining that Trump is unpopular while Ted can't come close to beating him makes no sense), and he cannot lead conservatives to victory in this, last best hope of America to survive as a republic.
So, the consensus among all thinking people is that Cruz cannot win the general election. Therefore, it now becomes clear that a vote for Ted in any remaining primaries, on the miniscule chance that Cruz can wrest the nomination from Trump, is a vote for Hillary.
It is a vote for Hillary not only because Ted would lose, but because even if Cruz does not get the nomination, but it is handed to Ryan or some other GOPe chump, then the party will go down to glorious, historic, defeat in that event as well.
No matter what you think will happen at the convention, a vote for Cruz is a vote for Hillary. That is undeniable. And that is why we rail at the Cruzbots who post here nonstop. They are either actively working for Hillary, or they are useful idiots who will bring us Hillary. Either way, if they cannot be convinced to support Trump against the establishment, they are enemies of conservatism.
What you said. Perfect.
>>>If the Trumpers hold to their word and wont vote for Cruz then its a Hillary landslide<<<
If the Cruzers hold to their word and wont vote for Trump then its a Hillary landslide.
See how that works?
I’ll Vote for ANY Republican over ANY DemoncRat.
Too bad everyone didn’t do the same in 2008 and 2012.
Brilliant. Spot on.
There is no way Cruz wins in the general. None. Zero. Zilch. Nada. There is NO path to victory for him.
So Cruz and his supporters, if they love this country, need to give it up, and give it up now.
Cut the deal with Trump. VP, AG, SCOTUS. Whatever.
But for the love of our country, and for the love of our children, suspend your campaign. Now.
Do you really believe that Trump would lose Utah, Arizona or SD in a general against Hillary? Are you that simple? I suspect you know better, but it’s a talking point that someone in Romney’s camp put out there and you are just repeating it.
That Cruz refuses to suspend and continues to fight tells you all you need to know about who he is working for. I always hoped that once it became clear that Trump would beat Cruz, they would work together. I think Trump did, too, he often spoke highly of Cruz even when they had some early spats. But Cruz has gone scorched earth now, and that tells me that he was never in the anti-establishment camp. He truly is all in on the fight to deny the nomination to Trump, whether he gets it or not. Otherwise, he would have worked that deal you are referring to after 3/15, when it became clear Cruz could not get a majority.
