Sunday, April 3, 2016: GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a campaign event in West Allis, WI at the Nathan Hale High School Gym. Watch the live stream of the event, all of us together, here beginning at 7:00 PM CDT.

West Allis, Wisconsin

West Allis is a city in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. A suburb of Milwaukee, it is part of the Milwaukee metropolitan area. The population was 60,411 at the 2010 census.

The name West Allis derives from Edward P. Allis] whose Edward P. Allis Company was a large Milwaukee-area manufacturing firm of the late 19th century. In 1901 the Allis company became Allis-Chalmers, and in 1902 it built a large new manufacturing plant west of its existing plant. The locale in which the new plant was built was at the time called North Greenfield, and prior to the 1880s had been called Honey Creek. With the building of the western Allis plant, the area was incorporated as the Village of West Allis, and it became the City of West Allis in 1906. Allis-Chalmers was later bought by Caterpillar.

The Wisconsin State Fair Park, which includes the Milwaukee Mile and is the site of the annual Wisconsin State Fair, is located in West Allis.

All candidates stop at Miss Katie’s. Don’t know why. It is nothing special - just a small diner with a larger bar area. Could be the easy on/off access to the expressway...or the mob ties. Shhhhhhh

They will just scoop all post cards up and toss in trash
Every envelope must be opened and checked to see if it’s is legitimate mail needing to be addressed.
I Once completely shut down our state department of education by just suggesting the possibility that each music teacher at state convention ask parent to write a note and send it in envelope. Each envelope had to be opened and at least perused to see if it was official business
As president of state group I could honestly say when called in the next week, I had not sent or told anyone to send mail. The bags of mail was huge and all four demands on my list were met !

Please pass along. A few extra pennies for a letter is worth it.

WIKI-—RNC chair Reince Priebus is the former chairman of the Wisconsin Republican Party, where he is credited with helping to bring nationally known figures such as Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and governor Scott Walker into power on the state level, and into prominence on the national stage.

I don't know, being an open primary it kind of depends on how many will cross. I do think the Bernie/Clinton thing will prevent many otherwise Dem votes but I can't imagine too many Independents going that way.

To the RNC. Tape a dime or quarter to your letter. They must process each contribution. Which takes time and money.

The chef, an African American fellow has worked there for a long time. All of Peter’s staff is professional and the food is great and reasonable. They make home made cream of mushroom soup that is to die for with chunks of Italian sausage. It has the old time diner décor and feel. Close enough to the business district downtown Milwaukee to attract professionals for lunch, dinner or cocktails.

You would think with all the heavy artillery directed against Trump he’d be in single digits. No other candidate could withstand all the incoming and still be standing and fighting back.

Absolutely. The media never seems to notice that while Cruz is slinking around trying to find establishment ways to steal votes, Trump is working his a$$ off campaigning.

I think it shows who the candidates choose to be aligned with.

Sounds like a good plan. I’ll do likewise when I make my run to the PO tomorrow morning.

I’m still thinking about ‘The Chalkening’ too. I went to a Dollar General store (one town away, paid cash for added subterfuge) and bought a bunch of it. They sell these yuge chalk sticks there, and I should get a lot of (s)mileage out of them!

My husband - of 40 years - has my bail money, should it come to that.

That’s why I call the Justice System the LEGAL system.

They are not interested in Justice.

Good post, Cboldt.

The postcards will be stamped with the town from which it was mailed, Davey. Two with the same town and same handwriting postmarked the same day.....hmmm...I think one per week will be enough for me....especially if I choose to write PITCHFORKS : )

Nice story!!

It specifically says Please do not send envelopes. Maybe they want to send a message but not make them angry? I don’t know.

I’m sure they will get tossed into the trash, but they will still have received the message. They’ll read the first couple, and then not bother to read the rest. But, they will still get the message from the volume of postcards, without adding to the secretary’s work load (too much) ; )

We’re pretty much on the same page Right-Wing. Guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens, but crossing my fingers the post cards will help stop some of the shenanigans the GOP is threatening to pull.

So I would imagine the tentacles are deeply dug in there. Yuck. I have to exercise self control to comment further : )
