LOL,just having fun along the way. Thanks again.
The chalkening is great as well.
Thanks very much bud I will check it.
So going to lunch, will be reading on Kindle, will leave with this thought as I ponder the universe.
I am a Cruz guy....let us be fair and balanced. But I am perfectly happy with Trump and truth be told, every time they get hysterical over Trump I like him all the more. By the way, interesting tidbit here....TRUMP won the Sussex GOP straw poll-like 77% to 23%...NONE for Kasich- this past week so looks like he’s going to win Delaware. I voted for Cruz in the straw poll but again, I shall smile.
So I’m watching this sniffing proper talking head on Fox News Sunday I think. She sniffs and remarks how disgusting this campaign is with allusions to male parts and hands....
So I got to thinking.
First, I’m glad that Rubio made that snide reference to a man’s hands although in my history it was always analogous to the size of his feet...hey, it’s the kind of shit we do out here in la-=la land where we carry this country on our backs.
Further, I’m damn glad Trump didn’t respond by doing the Mitt Romney and chastise those who would reference male parts during a campaign stop. Instead Trump told us his hands were plenty big....wink, wink, wink.
We got it. Heh.
So to the sniffling talking head disgusted with such talk....it now occurs to me...I’M EVEN HAPPIER TRUMP DEFENDED HIMSELF CAUSE I DON’T WANT A PRESIDENT WITH A LITTLE WEENIE.
Can you imagine such a thing?
No wait!
The college, university gets paid even if the banks/ govt. do not.
From the college kids side they go blindly into a four year degree seeing dollar signs and when the tour is over they get a dose of reality.
Yeah, buddy. I work at Auburn University. No longer full time, but semi-retired.
Even though Auburn is a GREAT Southern university with a fairly conservative outlook, mostly due to a significantly conservative and rich alumni, it’s slowly turning toward the typical yout’ favored socialism.
We’re making BIG dollars recruiting Chinese students, and teaming up with a sister university in China. Big bucks there. Half the kids I see around campus are Chinese. Not Asian, but just one country—China.
But you know what is the funniest? The Chinese kids are more conservative than the ‘Mercan kids!
The ‘fair and balanced’ logic allows being wrong as a correct answer.
Example: Economy. Republicans lower taxes for growth, Democrats raise taxes for growth.
Logic: the more you take out of the private sector, the smaller it gets.
So raising taxes won’t grow the Economy.
And that’s why Democrats should love Foxnews ‘fair and balanced’, wrong is a valid option.
I have no idea. Is someone saying that?
Also what do you see transpiring if Donald does not get to 1,237?
First, a lot will depend on how close he comes. Trump will called upon to use his negotiating skills and his considerable leverage to convince the GOP that it would be committing political suicide by disenfranchising the millions of new voters Trump has brought to the party.
Trump's argument will be that he has won the most states, most votes, and the most delegates, by far. He also has increased voter participation in the primaries to record levels. Yes, there are rules, but there is also common sense. If the "rules" steal the nomination from Trump, what happens to the 37% of the voters who have supported him? Polls show that the majority of the voters believe that the candidate who received the most delegates and votes should be the nominee regardless of the 1,237 number.
Trump will play hardball and could ultimately bolt the party if he believes he is being treated unfairly. The GOPe will have won a Pyrrhic victory.
If someone other than Trump or Cruz gets the nomination, you will have a bloodbath on the floor of the convention.
WALLACE: This may sound harsh, but are you in the process of blowing your campaign for president? ...If you had purposely set out to turn off voters, especially women voters over the last two weeks, I'm not sure you could have done a better job. ...
You did something pretty remarkable. You offended both the pro-life and the pro-choice movements with one statement. ...
The growing knock on you, and you read everything, so you know this is what people are saying, is that you haven't thought these things through. You haven't studied, that you wing it too often. ...
So, what are you saying, you've still got a learning curve? ...
You talk about the fact that you've only been a politician for eight months, but there are other issues that you've gotten in trouble on in the last week or so that have more to do with just judgment and temperament. For instance, the fact that you spent days going after Ted Cruz's wife and her looks ...
So, you have no regrets about letting this [Fields/Lewandowski] thing go on for two weeks? ...
the idea is not to have a nuclear arms race in the Northern Pacific, on the Korean peninsula ... You want to throw that all away. ...
In South Carolina, it turns out, you took a pledge to support the nominee. If you break that pledge, then you lose all those delegates. So, are you going to keep the pledge or not? ...
After the last two weeks, after all of these controversies, and plans to change your campaign? Any plans to lay off the personal attacks? Any plans, maybe, to study some of these issues more?
Under current law, she is not held accountable for what amounts to murder. Her actions are legal.
As one develops principles, one starts voting for "conservative" candidates because they generally offer conservative ideas.
However, there are no perfect conservative candidates, only varying degrees, stronger here, weaker there.
There are also no perfect conservatives voters either.
Therefore, the libs throw out every conservative idea out there, saying this candidate is weak on this one, and that candidate is weak on that one, hoping to match up a voter's discontent with a particular weakness in a particular candidate.
It's the political game, they are good at it, and scores of voters fall for it each election.
Republicans make a big thing of the primaries, discussing weaknesses and strengths of candidates, based on their own perception of perfection, while dems simply vote dem.
Well, except this time, Hillary is so universally hated, the dems are actually going to vote for bernie the admitted socialist! It is actually funny to watch it coming down.
The reason the elites (Republican and Democrat) hate Trump is he’s a threat to their gravy train corruption and insider’s club.
It’s nothing more than that...
Are you kidding me?
I read the whole book with a wrong assumption?
Me and Breitbart evidently. Heh.
Well three you have it...what would you do without me Cousin Mike?
I also wonder if Sanders will run as third party if he fails to get Dem nomination
btw-- your essay this morning was outstanding. I read it to my wife and she agrees. Ok if I copy and paste and send out to a few friends, or would you prefer I just send a link to it. On a copy and paste I definitely would give attribution to your screen name and freerepublic.
Hasn’t been floated much, but in the end, I’d bet it’s a Clinton/Sanders ticket.
Makes sense....she just attended a LGBT event in the past couple of days. Had to look good for the girls.
I just won a bet from a friend who lives in Birmingham and is an AU alum. He’s sending me an Auburn hat and says I will look pretty cool in it. So my question to you is —Do you think all my golfing buddies will be jealous?
I’ve noted that as well that pundits and media types fail to mention that Wisconsin has an open primary and democrats and independents are free to vote in the GOP Presidential primary.
The Wisconsin polls showing Trump trailing Cruz by double figures are of registered republicans and do not reflect democrat/independent crossover voters. In reality, it is close to being tied between Trump and Cruz if crossover voters are considered.
While Cruz does have a big lead of Republican voters, Trump also will have lots of crossover blue collar union democrats and independents voting for him. We will see Tuesday night if Trump gets enough crossover support to erase Cruz’s lead amongst registered Republicans and eke out an upset.
Its nothing more than that...
I'm neither a lawyer nor prosecutor, but it could just be that there's a chance to do some fairly serious time in jail for some of the antics have gone down over the past ten or fifteen years....
...not to mention the risk factor of "unpleasant" public reaction if the government/legal system doesn't clean house on their own.
And since both the time to clean up the act and the nature/intensity of that public reaction could be aggravated by the economy going in the dumper as looks more and more probable, those elites may be looking at nothing but very, very, VERY bad options if they can't get control ASAP and by any means they can find.
This just ain't going to end well for somebody and this week may tell the tale for the name of that poor soul.
