White House hopeful Bernie Sanders on Friday referred to Donald Trump as “a nutcase” as he argued to a crowd here that he is the Democrat best suited to defeat the Republican front-runner in the fall election.
The senator from Vermont, whose rhetoric aimed at Trump has become increasingly pointed in recent weeks, began a rally here by arguing that he would be a stronger candidate against Trump than Hillary Clinton, the Democratic front-runner.

Is is the pot doing the talking. Sanders is just describing another pipe dream. Sanders is living in the fantasy world of the Unicorn Farm. Unrestricted border crossers, ISIS Islamic terrorists embedded in legal immigration Trojan Horse schemes, jobs sucked out of our country like water out of a reservoir, and Big Government spending like a drunken sailor is real. The disaster of the Obama years is what DemonRATs want as they blame shift their failed liberal policies on those who want success.
I understand your implication, but 'socialism' has worked for Sanders in Vermont although under the guise of "independent" / "democrat" for many years.
Sanders is pretty much accepting the "socialist" tag openly and promoting it now.
It also worked for obama for two terms (I fully believe that he expected to lose his second election and should have).
Don't forget the long lines of 'youth' waiting to register to vote and then to same day vote. That opportunity hasn't changed for those wishing to take this country over without violence. Khrushchev said he'd bury us from within.

The Donald inherited half of Queens and a big chunk of Manhattan. That aside, almost all real life self made tycoons, John Galt types, from Ford, to Rockefeller to Gates, to Jobs, to Eastman, etc., exhibit unbalanced personalities.
Bernie, Bernie, save it for California, the granola state... the land of nuts, flakes, and most importantly, fruits. There, the term “nutcase” could be embraced.
