Accusations of lies and actual examples of lies are two different things.

Oh, absolutely. And we should never confuse the two.

But with Trump, we're well past accusations and into real, verifiable lies. Tons of them.

Hell, in the past week we've had Trump claim that MSNBC edited his interview with Chris Matthews to make Trump look bad, which is patently false on its face.

What's bizarre is that these are stupid lies. Easily-disproven lies, and lies he doesn't have to peddle. He has plenty of business successes, he doesn't have to claim that failures like Trump Magazine or Trump Steaks are still active business ventures. He doesn't have to claim that he made money on Trump Air instead of losing $100 million.

I'd respect a successful businessman who can learn from his failures. That's just life. I can't respect one who lies and insists that they were all successes.
