More people have voted for other candidates than have voted for Trump. You have plurality and majority mixed up. Quit calling me names.

Will not vote for Ryan, Romney, Cruz or Kasich in the general.

We will write in Trump. Easiest thing in the world is to electronically write in your Presidential Candidate of choice. Trump supporters are not going anywhere. We will supersede the RNC shenanigans by highest turnout for a write in candidate in our nations history. FACT

We will have work shops all over the country about how to write in a candidate in each state, etc.

Well I think we’ve all forgotten what it is to be human, quite frankly. It’s a matter of allowing God to thaw out the ice in our souls, not of being some theological Einstein.

We can get so engrossed in traditional methods of doing things (calling it conservatism) that we forget WHY we ever wanted to do such things. The medicine that saved in small doses, poisons and kills in large ones.

Agreed.

Some would say any murderer is inherently crazy and cutting women who have abortions slack is unfair. I’m not smart enough to answer that one quickly :)

Well, empirically, we don’t even see that kind of treatment of the situation in the Old Testament, the best example we have of a divinely sanctioned law and order regime (and also one that serves up some surprises, like treating murder and sabbath breaking the same).

But also because, like in an attempted suicide, the natural bond between woman and gestated offspring is so close, that the crime virtually punishes itself with respect to the woman. What Roe v. Wade uncorked was not nearly so much self-initiated desire for abortions, as a ghastly gang of those who would beckon women on to madness.

Nice try. LOL

notice you used candidate(s) plural. Sure lump all the other candidate numbers and total them against one person, Trump? Who does that? LOL that is not normal. You could slice out any other candidate and put Trumps numbers in the group numbers and the other candidate would fair much worse than Trump.

And why is that? because Trump leads in the numbers.

People are becoming unhinged with their Trump hate.

Watch this video. Trump enthusiasm isn’t going anywhere, it’s only getting stronger.

last sentence really hit the point home.

just like the final exit network or peaceful pill handbook for suicides. or roving suicide vans in northern W European countries.

#216 I was trying to be polite. However. Yes he has lied repeatedly since the interview to try to stop the poop storm he created. He and his team have been flailing away for two days now to stop the damage.

In the primaries we are trying to find a nominee that the majority of Republican voters support. It doesn’t matter how the votes are split between other candidates, Trump does not have the majority of votes. Trump has 37% of the total votes so far. 37%, not 51%. That means 63% of Republican voters don’t support Trump so far. 63% is the majority. The nominee is supposed to be acceptable to the MAJORITY of Republicans.
I think this is what most of Trump supporters don’t understand about the primaries. No one is cheating Trump out of anything. He has just failed so far to win over the majority of Republicans.

And the self punishing nature of such schemes (to the one who takes them) is pretty clear.

Our own fog of being over-sexed has blinded us to how it applies in the case of abortions. As adolescents we probably thought the mothers’ admonition “you’ll go blind!” with respect to selfish exercise of sex was a hopelessly inaccurate euphemism, but it turns out to be true. If the wrong spirits are present in what you love on that level, you quickly become dedicated to them, and as the expression goes, love is blind. That might be fine when it comes to forgiving sin, not so fine when it comes to excusing it.

Anyhow if I must be “blind with love” may it be towards God and towards the things He chooses to overlook for the sake of greater things.

Trump’s premise and repeated here that abortion is a states rights issue is fundamentally wrong and completely misunderstands the power of the US Constitution.

First, both the 5th and 14th amendments affirm a right to life. Period. However ignored by the Cabal, the right to life is protected by the US Constitution. Not a states rights issue.

More important, the Constitution derives its authority not by creating rights, but by affirming them. The right to life isn’t just a constitutional right, it’s a natural right of men, given to us not by our Founders, or black robed judges, but by an Almighty God.

The Constitution rightly acknowledges that what God gives, it cannot take away.

Neither can the states.

To proclaim that abortion is a states rights issues misses the point that it’s a natural right of man to live. Once you delegate those rights to provincial control, be it state or federal, you lose those rights.

If the US Constitution were to explicitly condone abortion, I would not respect its authority to do so. That’s what makes the Constitution such a great document, it is a respecter of your natural rights.

By extension, what the Constitution cannot breach, the states also cannot.

Gov’t may cede to themselves control of your natural rights, but to the extent that they do, it is tyranny.

No. Abortion is not a states rights issue.

Only fools put their trust in Politicians........rather, we vote for the men who best meet our standards and principles with a history that supports his positions.

The only thing we can control is our vote. Everything else surrounding an election is out of our hands unless we’re serving.....or...as Jim does in running a great website to influence those who are voting and vet the candidates.

We, as a nation of people, are doing at the polls what a Republic does in their fight to maintain, retain and or restore the freedoms of this country and this nation. We are “FOR” these Freedoms and “FOR” this country.

You would do well to listen to the fourth verse of the National Anthem as sung by a Patriot which caused everyone to stand...and remember where our Trust lays and who establishes this nation.

The various mechanisms used to protect the rights is a valid matter of the 10th Amendment, unless you can infallibly posit a one-size-fits-all answer.

You would be wanting the Federal government to prosecute all homicides, just to begin opening the Pandora’s box. If our recent history is any example, that might turn out to do a worse job than letting this be a 10th Amendment issue.

There are only 3 remaining nominees in the primary. And Trump has the majority of votes in every category. Trump has much more of a majority over Kasich and Cruz and will continue to hold the majority of the 2 remaining candidates into June.

There are no other candidates left. If they were still in the race, they would STILL have a super minority of the votes. Romney and Ryan have 0% of the votes.

So in every, EVERY scenario, Trump has he majority of any one other person. You can’t total up everyone else including Romney and Ryan and say they are more popular than Trump. The will of the majority of people is Trump. That is a fact and will not change.

But doesn’t your own opening sentence bid fair to contradict itself?

There are some “standards and principles” that we should never have been expecting from a secular authority; that, in fact churches have permitted to be a crutch that excuses them from addressing them in house.

I’ll go through this one more time. This is not the general election. In the primaries we are trying to find a nominee that all Republicans will support in the general election. The best way to do that is to find one candidate that the majority of Republicans find acceptable and can support. The Republicans that voted for all the candidates votes count, not just the votes for the candidate that has the plurality of the vote so far.

We had a wide field and candidates have dropped out. We don’t say, “Tough luck you voted for Rubio so your vote doesn’t count now.” We still need the people that voted for Rubio to vote for the Republican nominee so he can win the general election.

Here is the point you don’t seem to grasp. If only 37% of the people support Trump and the other 67% can decide on another person. Then the person that 67% find acceptable is much more likely to win.
