I’m curious about that too. The article didn’t mention her lawyer. I wonder if it will turn out to be Kendall.
Mills may have more exposure than the rest. She set up a company to exploit African opportunities. Remember Guccifer hacked Blumenthal’s email account and read the discussions with Hillary. The NSA is examining how Blumenthal came into possession of verbatim copies of classified information.
There’s quite a few loose strings out there. AFAIK Blumenthal could be looking at charges too. The Clinton crime family isn’t just a few shady characters. In this case the more the merrier doesn’t apply.
Mills has been with the Clintons for a long time & they have taken VERY good care of her. She’s lied to Congress before, they just didn’t do anything about it.
Mills & Huma have some big decisions to make ... do they think they are important enough to the Clintons to try to ride this out on Hilly’s coattails - hope she’s got enough of a “deal” with Obama in the works that they won’t be charged? Or do they work out a deal for themselves. I think the FBI has enough on them to put them away for a long, long time ... unless they roll over on Clinton. If the DOJ won’t play, then the gamble for the Clintonistas will probably pay off. It’s a real game of “chess”.
I wonder if their sense of elitism finally betrayed them. Whether the FBI gets them via lying during the interviews is just icing on the cake. Guccifer is potentially “one” of Hillary’s Achilles heals. If there are lose ends the FBI has found them.
What isn’t known is that the FBI has been working on this for possibly as long as two years when they interviewed Guccifer in the Romanian prison.
I do not see how they can keep their lies together .... somebody has to slip up somewhere. Also, I think you are quite correct that there is info the FBI has that nobody knows about ... not the talking heads, not ‘intellligence sources’, etc. I did not know until recently that the agents on the case were subject to polygraphs to keep them from leaking ... the leaks Herridge has been getting have evidently been planned leaks ... the “good stuff” is being held back. :-) Arrogance, hubris, elitism .... I think Clinton & her henchmen have overplayed their hands this time. I have my own deep dark thoughts about what the “Intelligence Community” might have in store for Hilly to keep her out of the WH - she’s knowingly & willfully committed treason (IMO), exposed sources & methods & ruined billion dollar intelligence collection systems ... I don’t see how in the heck they allow her to get to the WH/CIC.
The leaks were obviously planned. They embarrassed the WH and provided the truth as a counterpoint to Hillary’s equivocation. It’s almost as if there’s a lead up to something. Each side is marshalling resources prior to a titanic confrontation.
Quite a few are going to utter exclamations as details come out. I expect Sanders is going to get more aggressive because the superdelegates are going to be put into play. The party PTB are going to be faced with a decision very soon.
With Clinton tanking they won’t have long. Accept Sanders or go with Joe? A lot of knives will be out. Obama will increasingly face a Congress ill disposed to cooperation. I hope Garland isn’t picking out fabric for draperies. At best he’ll be a footnote to history.
The media won’t know whether to s**t or go blind. We’re seeing the beginning of one of the most important events in American political history.
