It’s called reading the rulebook.

What Trump and many here have overlooked is that the independents and “operation chaos” Democrats who have crossed over to vote for Trump, are not represented in the delegates that go to convention.

Cruz is a creature of Washington DC. He plays by the unwritten Washington rulebook.

Unfortunately his “stealing delegates” campaign is a symptom of the kind of corruption most of us normal people (outside washington DC) want to eliminate.

You people can defend Ted all you want but it’s wrong. If Trump did this i’d be very disappointed in him, not even sure I’d still vote for him. Just because the RNC made stealing legal doesn’t make it right.

But then Cruz supporters know who he is and that doesn’t stop them.

It’s called reading the rulebook.

It's called slimy politics as usual being performed by slimy politicians.

The GOPe will get what they want > Hillary. Cruz has zero chance of becoming president.

This is a very sad time for our republic.

No, it's called denying the majority of voters their choice.

To actually use the “rulebook” to justify the candidate you support winning in such a fashion is pitiful. If it was a very close count in the end, perhaps it could be justified, but it would still leave a poor taste in the mouth of voters you would need to have him win the general.

Such a tactic will only insure that the dem candidate will win. It doesn't matter anyways, because if Cruz is the nominee, he already has no chance to win the general, and this would just make it a worse showing than it would already be.

It is called negating the decision of the voters.

Do you think that Cruz can win a national election with these tactics?

I understand if and when the “pledge to back The nominee” is “broken”, the candidate can “steal” from the person who broke the pledge. Donald can then resteal his delegates back, as cruz broke the pledge too.
