Bad sign.

When a Trump crowd, in Wisconsin of all places, boos Scott Walker, it’s a bad crowd.

The only thing about Scott Walker is that he’s the best governor the state has ever had....unless you’re a government worker.

“How do you like Paul Ryan?” Trump asked the audience, who booed in response.

Trump appearing surprised, said, “Wow, I was told be nice to Paul Ryan.”

Towards the end of the town hall, Trump took questions from the audience, but one was a declaration of appreciation rather than a question.

(good article)

Not bad. Nice crowd.

...
Washington Post’s Dave Weigel noted that at least 4,000 people were in line to get into the venue to hear Trump speak, but it only held about 1,000 people.

“’I’m doing this all for them,” Trump said about his campaign, referencing his grandchildren. “It’s a message of competence.”

We have become so desperate to get rid of the Dims (and I don’t blame us), that we elect moron “conservatives”. THAT will backfire. But with this crop of POTUS candidates I don’t see us learning that lesson.

Scott Walker is a popular governor among Republicans in Wisconsin. Not a good move on Trump’s part.

Somehow I can’t see how p*ssing off Scott Walker voters is going to bring the party together or is to his benefit.
From what I have read, Walker has been doing a fine job in Wisconsin.

Why is Trump attacking another solid conservative?

He seems to take it very personally when someone does not prefer him over an opponent.

Does Trump think his donations ought to guarantee a Walker endorsement?

If Trump could have just stayed on message, he would have wrapped up this nomination.

The way Trump and Cruz have been running their campaigns is a disaster.

Trump and Cruz started their campaigns very friendly toward each other. If either one had kept it that way, the one who refused to mudsling would have won.

Now we have to go into a general election after a despicable blood bath. And both of these guys look desperate to score political points. It is not helping the cause of conservatism or help the nation.

Trump donated $250,000 to the Republican Governors Association last year and another $100,000 in 2012. He maxed out to Walker’s reelection campaign last year with a $10,000 check. During the 2012 recall campaign, Walker visited with Trump in New York City, and the millionaire a few days later gave $15,000 to the Wisconsin Club for Growth, an outside group that helped defeat the recall.

Trump praised Walker for taking on public employee unions in Wisconsin. “I think he’s going to be a very interesting candidate,” he said. “I believed what he was doing was the right thing.”

Speaking on the phone Thursday before he flew to Florida for the weekend, Trump reiterated his criticisms of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, including the former Florida governor’s support for Common Core and his comment last year that people who enter the United States do so as an “act of love.”
