Again that is not my experience
I think we fall on different sides, but I can respect your reasoning. I love my country, but it is sliding away...
I heard him say something about reading Time. Let’s make sure he gets a copy before the morning briefing.
I see that you're a Cheesehead. Are you well-versed on the state's economics? Such things make most people's eyes glaze over.
The story of my voting life. My guy never seems to win either.
Fatez, IMO Cruz is nothing more than Bush, Dole, Bush, McCain, and Romney.
Up until Cruz, those types were not working out for us.
We both agree with that.
Trump is different in that he hasn’t been working in Washington, D. C. off and on for 17 years. While he did donate to buy face time, I’ve not heard of him demanding anything from Hillary that I would object to.
We can argue over stuff like that until the cows come home. It won’t do any good.
Trump is a businessman with a proven record of producing.
Our nation needs a producer right now.
Since 1992, we have been unable to beat the likes of Clinton by more than the skin of our teeth. And when we did, that person let us down terribly.
So yes, some of us are backing someone different. The folks we settled on in the past have led us to where we are now.
Trump may not be the best man we’ve very had. He’s certainly going to be better than Bush, Dole, Bush, McCain, and Romney.
Cruz having worked for bush, now teaming up with the Bushes, Rubio, Romney, and most likely Kasich too, I’m very comfortable with backing Trump.
What can I say.
I played along to vote Bush in the second time. How did the nation benefit? It came very close to going belly up.
I think Trump is what the good doctor ordered.
Every medication has side effects. Trump will too. They also frequently get the job done.
Trump will too. IMO.
You and I agree on that. I feel exactly the same way you do on it.
For his family’s sake, I hope he didn’t. I sure wish he could have just said that the other night. I have never cheated on my wife.
He couldn’t. That went over like a lead balloon.
I have gone through the same thought process and my answer is no, I will not vote in the Presidential election if Trump is the Republican candidate.
I live in Washington state which will not go red under any circumstances. Even though I have voted in the 4 last presidential elections here, my vote has never really meant anything when it came to our electoral votes. So not voting for him doesn’t really matter as my vote is only the exercise of my own personal opinion.
I will vote in all other down ticket races where my vote will matter and hopefully oust that moron Inslee from the governor’s office.
The last time my vote mattered in a Presidential election was in 1980, 1984, and 1988 when I lived and California and the state went to Reagan and then to GHW Bush.
He and I are having a dialogue right now.
It remains to be seen how productive that will be.
I’m willing to reach out to people who show signs of being willing to discuss the issues.
The way I read it, Trump painted Walker as a selfish conservative - more concentrated on his political image than on his state. As many politicians are.
Trump is also appealing to conservative democrats to cross-over. People relate to schools with stained ceiling tiles which property taxes/state income taxes are supposed to support. And then there’s potholes on the way to work, unemployment, etc. All cross-over topics.
and you should also take into account that we are day 3 into a 100-day campaign to sink Trump. If he sneezes into the wrong color or brand hankie, it will become some sort of issue.
keep working for Soros
I think we’re all starved for reasonable dialogue, after the bot deluge of the last couple of months.
conservative democrats = jumbo shrimp
Ignore him. :)
Believe it or not, I am trying to make some points through humor, even if they are not funny. They are never meant to hurt. DoughtyOne is a big boy and gives as good as he takes and I respect that...
And BTW, I use Trumpsters affectionately and I think I may have been the first on FR to use it...
Currently I am trying to train myself to always respond calmly and with reason rather than getting my ire up. So far the other people have either calmed back down after losing some credibility, or gotten mad that they could not get a rise out of me, and went on to lose more credibility.
Thanks for your comments Fatez.

Tada, I don't know either...
If Cruz doesn’t win Wisconsin which it looks that way. He will have won 1 contests out of 10. To me that means he should drop out. He has a bunch of 3rd places coming up in the northeast. He’s done Wednesday. He should have left after he lost the entire south, but Wednesday is fine.
