Well, ten bucks is ten bucks. If they'd institute constitutional carry it would be even cheaper. :>)

Is it true that Florida will issue CC for people who live out of state? Or for those in states with similar reciprocity?

So in these states, you have to pay for the “privilege” of exercising your 2A “right?”

If they wanted to boost tourism they would allow unconditional reciprocity for all CCL holders in all 57 states.

I think it was worth the extra $10 when Charles Bronson was signing them.

I suggest that, like here in Louisiana, that the
counties (parishes), issue CHL’s within them, limited
to those map lines.

The State-wide CHL, for some folks, is too costly,
and not useful, if their world of operation, exists
within their parish/county lines. Sure, if they go
beyond that, their piece goes in the trunk, until
they are in their resident parish.

I do this, because I don’t own a vehicle; my
world is within the parish; and my errands are
accomplished with a friend’s help.

Louisiana just made the State CHL costs
$500.00 for 5 years in one charge!
The parish charged me a whole $50.00, for the
initial fee, and every year since, a whole
$10.00 to renew it.

I had to drop my FL non-resident permit because of their requirement that the paper fingerprint cards be done by police. The only agency nearby that still does paper cards for the general public will only do them for city residents or if you work in that city. Neither applies to me so unfortunately it became too much of a hassle to try to get the cards done. OTOH Arizona allows the cards to be done by any licensed fingerprint company. Easy and convenient.

ANY licensing or registration requirement is a violation of the second amendment. What confuses them about “shall not be infringed”?
