Ted Cruz made his debut on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Wednesday night, and needless to say, fellow GOP presidential hopeful Donald Trump received a not-so-honorable mention: Cruz joked about running Trump over with a car.
Before Cruz sat down with Kimmel, a segment with April Fool's Day prank ideas was aired. One of the ideas involved putting a picture of Trump in front of the backup camera of someone's car so a person would mistakenly think they were about to hit Trump when they reversed.
Cruz later brought up the prank when Kimmel asked the Texas senator who he liked least: Trump or President Barack Obama.
"Look, I dislike Obamas policies more, but Donald is a unique individual," Cruz said.
"I will say, I was watching the early part of the show, and if I were in my car getting ready to reverse and saw Donald in the backup camera, Im not confident which pedal Id push," Cruz said, jokingly.

-—Liar...you cant name three can you?-—
I see the “Trump Effect” is on full display here...
Of course I can name three but you go straight to name calling like your idol when confronted with a unpleasant fact...
Pretty certain I’m standing by the Constitution in saying that Trump is not a person deserving of any votes from any sane person.
Trump is an embarrassment.
Hillary is an embarrassment.
Sanders is a sad joke.
Trump has spoken positively about Obama numerous times.
You’re adding narrative.
You can “see” whatever you like doofus...but what you cant do is back up your bs.
No surprise here.
You mean like Cruz threatening to sue Twitter, right?
Really? That's a good one. No, I am not upset, mad, or breaking. I have my pick and personally I don't think that either candidate will make it, but that is another conversation. Cruz is not a non-establishment candidate and the his backing shows that. Sorry, he sold his soul to stay in the race. When you get backed by the establishment, they own you.
Ted is not a uniter. He is not will liked by his fellow senators. In fact, only one senator (Lee) legitimately endorsed him. Graham is only endorsing him to stop Trump.
I’d rather have a beer with Cruz any day of the week than hang out with the Donald and his good friends B Clinton and Jeff Epstein.
The majority of American voters are idiots who are clueless on 99% of issues. Low information voters is to kind when “stupid” fits.
The candidates on the other hand aren’t much better:
A Socialist/Communist left over 90% dead hippie
A Lying Lesbian C—t
An idiot who’s been on every side of every issue several times and a walking oxymoron
I’ll stick with Cruz and hope for the best...
I respect that. What I won't respect is a convention that picks, Romney, Ryan or Bush as the candidate.(nobody would be stupid enough to pick the semi-retarded Hasich ?) I'll vote straight Democrat for the rest of my shortening life.
I didn’t find it funny. Isn’t he supposed to be an evangelical Christian?
Cruz has said that the only thing he has against Obama before was his policies.
If a contested convention picks anyone but Trump or Cruz you won’t have to vote straight Democrat for the rest of your shortening life (mine’s getting there as well bny the way).
I’ll go out in a blaze of glory with the rest of what’s left of the real Americans... Feel free to join in.
You are Trumpsplaining when you should be ashamed to back an embarrassment and his whole campaign.
The actual event was that this woman pushed past the Secret Service to get near Trump, touch him, and yell questions at him. Trump's bodyguard saw her as a threat and removed her gently but firmly, the way bodyguards are trained to do.
My story was to illustrate that bodyguards are very fast, but very firm. The treatment the reporter got from the bodyguard is probably typical of the treatment that people receive when they get too close to someone who has bodyguard protection.
The fact is that the reporter exaggerated her story, and backed off when she found out that the incident was recorded. Her filing charges is a political ploy, nothing else.
Right now, the media is gunning for Trump because he is the front-runner. Do you seriously think they won't turn their big guns on Cruz if he should become the front runner or nominee? Unfortunately, Cruz has a lot more baggage than Trump, and a lot less name recognition. He'll have a hard time surviving it.
Indeed. It looks like the bruise is on an arm the reporterette doesn't own. That bodyguard was so rough he managed to bruise people who weren't even in the area.
