“I see allegations against Cruz being part of the system, being cozy with the opposition but at the same time, we see he is despised by the same Senate/establishment he is supposedly working in cahoots with.”
No flame here, Hulka, just my honest opinion.
As time has gone by, and I’ve gotten to know Ted Cruz better, I’ve become less and less convinced that he’s the ‘consistent conservative’ I once thought he was.
Given what he’s actually done during his short time in the Senate, how he’s conducted himself throughout this race, and the company he’s now allied with, I can’t judge him to be anything but an establishment GOP insider.
I’ve lost all faith that he’d do what’s necessary to correct the nation’s disastrous course, If he were elected president.
In good conscience, I simply can’t support him. As to whether I’d vote for him if he’s the nominee, I don’t know what I’ll do, but I’m definitely voting against the Dem.
Thanks. Well stated.
