Serious question: When does one lose the “newbie” status?

You never do, because someone has always been here longer.

I have been here since Feb 20, 1998, and I still get called a newbie by a few.

Now the list of Freepers who have been here longer than me is getting shorter and shorter as time goes by, but there are still a few who call me Newbie from time to time.

Why do you ask Newbie?
