I think your intentions are good. I think your theory has some flaws.
“Truce” is subjective.
I don’t know how JR could ask the mods to police such a truce. They are likely divided themselves between candidates.
And, frankly, anyone who can’t run with the big dogs belongs on the porch. That’s not a snark at you, Vike. It’s just how I see it. To me, being a freeper means that you can weild logic and reason as the weapon it is. Resorting to insults and personal attacks demonstrates a weak position.

I hope Jim is telling the Mods not to get too involved unless there is some absolute nastiness involved. I'm sure some have agendas. I've had some pretty innocuous posts taken down.
