What nuances?

Good heavens. It's been explained several times on this thread already. In many cases, the abortive mother has been coerced into having the abortion. Does the mother get punished in that case?

I believe that according to current law, if you are coerced into murder, you’re still going to be tried for murder.

Might get a reduced sentence, but ultimately you were the one who pulled the proverbial trigger.

If the abortion is illegal, your point is moot.
If you talk someone into killing someone else, aren’t they still guilty of murder?
