Donald Trump Threatens Legal Action Over Charge Against Campaign Manager

Donald Trump says he is considering legal action in response to a recent battery charge against campaign manager Corey Lewandowski.

"Frankly, this is not a claim that should have been made," Trump told ABC News' David Muir on "Good Morning America" this morning.

Lewandowski was arrested on Tuesday morning for allegedly grabbing former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields following a Trump event earlier this month. Trump dismissed the incident as "very minor," saying that "practically nothing happened."

"I'm sure there will be a counter-claim coming down the line," Trump added. "Should I file charges against her because she touched my arm as well?"

Not lying. I’ve seen video which shows him grabbing her arm. She is then pulled to one side.

How am I liar when the video provided by Trump shows this?

I just watched that about 10 times.

There is NO WAY he assaulted her.

Anyone who has ever traveled on city public transportation during rush hour has been treated far worse.

She should be ashamed of herself.

You do realize that mindlessly clinging to your attack lies is the sort of behavior that makes you posting around here a laughing stock right?

How have I lied?

Did the police also lie when they said they found probably cause?

Did the Washington Post reporter also lie?

Did the Secret Service lie?

So since none of us have lied, then that must make you what?

Most people are smart enough to realize they are wrong when everyone else has exactly the opposite reaction from you when watching the video,

Rather then fold a losing hand, you have doubled down. That is just stupid tactics.

"There is NO WAY he assaulted her." Florida Statute 784.03 Battery; felony battery.— (1)(a) The offense of battery occurs when a person: 1. Actually and intentionally touches or strikes another person against the will of the other; or 2. Intentionally causes bodily harm to another person. (b) Except as provided in subsection (2), a person who commits battery commits a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.

______

So by grabbing her he meets the legal criteria for simple battery. Hence the charge. Will he be convicted? Will the judge even allow it to move forward? My guess is the charges will be dismissed. However, his simple action of grabbing her meets the definition of the crime.

If you are a trump stockholder or one of his thousands of employees, then you benefit a lot from your employer getting the city state and feds to allow you to do business - as do all the businesses and people affected by the development

So as part of the investment, yes

Especially as a RE developer The people who award contracts, grants variances and permits, do inspections etc are not enemies of America but a lot of them are democrats and Trump does business in democrat strongholds so having good relationships is important

I doubt Trump would have gotten the federal contract to buy and re do the Old Post Office in DC if he didn’t haver democrat interests in his pocket to look at his bid

and please- talk to anyone who works for a big company about how and why they spread their political donations around. Its not ideology

I could go to Disney World next week and charge hundreds of people with battery for touching me as they work their way through a crowd- I could even position myself to make a case

“Why? The video provided by the Trump campaign shows him grabbing her and pulling her.”

I doubt you can go to any major event without being bumped or grabbed or knocked over at least as much. Drama queen.

So you’re saying as long as I or my company benefit then its acceptable to bribe public officials.

IMO its immoral and the corruption it breeds is a leading factor in the downfall of our country.
