Greta Van Susteren and her “On the Record” panel discussed the battery charges against Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski today by a Florida court.
Greta started the segment by playing Donald Trump’s presser with reporters today on the Michelle Fields hoax. Trump told reporters,
“ “I’m not going to let a person’s life be destroyed over somebody that we have on tape. And you just take a look at what people are saying when they see that incident on tape. And no jury, in my opinion, no jury would convict a man and destroy a man over what you had here.”
Tonight former homicide detective Ted Williams and former prosecutor Katie Phang joined Greta to discuss the case.
Greta and her guests all agreed there is no way they can win this case in court and the only reason Corey was charged was because he is associated with Donald Trump. Greta said,
“In my wildest dreams I don’t see how a jury ever convicts on this with all the ambiguity. In fact, it looks like two Secret Service who were protecting Donald Trump are reaching for her. I don’t know whether or not that is what is provoking the bruises or not. That’s the problem. Here’s your reasonable doubt right there.”

I still cannot tell if it was a “grab.” I am trying my best to see this a objectively as I can. BTW: This woman has a history of lying about thing to defame people. Just wait until he is found guilty or not.
All that happened is that the SS and Corey Lewandowski pushed past her and then cut off access to Trump so she and Terris could not pester him. I have also seen that footage from floor level where the SS agent and Corey pass Fields one on each side. She just stands there. The whole thing is BS.

My take on it...If I were on the jury I would find Corey not guilty. A)because it's a rally and they are all on edge trying to keep trump safe. b)The bruising should teach her to know there are limits to press access.
Given that, If I were on a jury of a civil defamation suit against either Corey or Donnie I would find them guilty of Defamation because clearly she was there and Corey Grabbed her. Making his claim a lie, and the fact that the video shows him reaching and grabbing her shows Trump Lied to slander her while being interviewed.
Their intentions were clear. Degrade and defame her by calling her delusional and a liar.
I don't think a judge would allow her past to be allowed in unless she or the prosecution brought it in. They'd keep it on point to this event only.

For the rest of the world, its barely a stumble. The guy in the red and white checked shirt, behind her, didn't even notice her, as he went around. In fact EVERYONE around her, kept on moving, like nothing ever happened.
But Corey said he was never near her and she was delusional that he grabbed her.
And Trump said she made the whole thing up.
How can that be, you post indicates they grabbed her.
Which is it. Either it Happened or it didn’t.

If it was all made up why are you referring to ANY video. Trump said it Never happened. So did Corey.

If you’re objective you would know Lewandowsky lied about the incident. Trump and lewandowsky then tried to smear her. So she filed a report. No one to blame but Trump and lewandowsky...the two that lied about this incident.
Is it a big deal? no...... but it’s always the cover up...the lying that gets em.
Kinda like if Cruz is guilty on the adultery. He will pay a price not because of the act but because of his holier than thou persona...the lie

I've body posted, where people have run into me. I guarantee they stumbled harder than she did, and they weren't pushed or pulled. They just ran into an immoveable object.
This was a nothing incident.
Let's see, this happened March 8. Ben Terris's article comes out March 10. Fields files a report March 11.
Lewandowski denied Terris's account, because it was a nothing incident, even though Terris's report made it huge.
So...Fields and Terris ran the story, AND THEN Lewandowski responded to the accusation, AND THEN the following day Fields filed a police report.
The twitter posting you posted, was after Lewandowski was blind sided by the accusation.
Personally, what you repeatedly have called...LIES...I think is someone just responding to a nut jobs accusation.
She accused him of pulling her back and down. Making it sound like a violent altercation. Which evidence shows, it wasn't.
I doubt he remembered the incident, simply because it didn't happen the way she described. Dozens of encounters like that can happen in a typical night at a venue. There was nothing for it to stand out.
I'm sure the police went through the video numerous times to find the incident and then replayed it numerous times to try and verify what happened.
But hey...if you want to believe that Lewandowski lied, go right ahead, it's been obvious that you've had an agenda all along, and nothing is going to dissuade you.

The big difference is that Cruz didn’t deny the allegations to the Specifications/Requirements of the Trump supporters. However, he did deny the allegations. They’ve been posted a gazillion times if you care to look.
There. Now the facts are out on the table.
Donnie got caught in his lie. ON Video. If it is proven that Cruz lied about the women, he should suffer the same.
In a perfect world that is true; however the defense can make her life miserable especially in a criminal proceeding. There is no such thing as straight forward in court.
Your time frame is off.
March 8 is when the incident happened.
March 10 is when the article was posted claiming Fields account, of a near violent incident.
March 10 Lewandowski refutes her claim calling her what he did.
March 11 she files the report.
What you are calling a smear, is in direct response to a smear by Terris and Fields.
Fields threw the accusation first, through Terris’ post.
Basically, Lewandowski said that the encounter didn’t happen and that she was making it up.
WHY??? Because it DIDN’T happen... the way Fields or Terris’ reported it. So of course Lewandowski doesn’t remember it.
If someone makes a claim that sensational about you and you don’t remember anything of the sort, of course you’re going to claim they are nuts.
And from everything else out there...she is.
The other major point is that everyone assumes the bruising occurred as a result of this accusation. There is no proof of that. There is also no proof of exactly how Corey touched her if at all. Nowhere on any video do we see his hand on her arm! So the bruising remains to be proven.
And for some...it did.
As I said, there is no video that shows his hand on her arm anywhere. We do not know if he even touched her. The bruising could have been done in any number of ways and there simply is no proof Corey did it.
This is so stupid.
