Donald Trump attacked Wisconsin governor Scott Walker for failing to raise taxes in order to properly fund schools and roads on Tuesday, in a startling new break from rightwing orthodoxy from the Republican frontrunner.
The comments came after Walker endorsed Trumps rival, Texas senator, Ted Cruz, in the GOP race.
Walker became a conservative hero for his efforts to crush public sector unions and cut government spending in the Democratic-leaning state in Wisconsin, something that led to an attempted recall of the Wisconsin governor in 2012 and became a national cause célèbre. But, in a radio interview with talkshow host Michael Koolidge on Tuesday, Trump bashed walker's administration.
Theres a $2.2bn deficit and the schools were going begging and everything was going begging because he didnt want to raise taxes cause he was going to run for president, said Trump. So instead of raising taxes, he cut back on schools, he cut back on highways, he cut back on a lot of things.

Honestly, how the hell does this man keep his mob hypnotized for so long? Is it the illusion of being in the majority?
Part of it is the illusion of being in the majority.
Look at the reaction when they are shown polls of him losing handily to Clinton.
Another is he’s a good salesman. He started out saying things many of us wanted to hear. After a while, a few of us starting looking at him objectively and said, “no thanks.” Some, sadly, have not. So they ignore all the warning signs and just focused on the things he said they wanted to hear.
For example, those that don’t support him, be they for Cruz or someone else, do accept the fact that the candidate they chose could lose to Clinton. Trump supporters believe no such thing. They believe a silent majority is out there that’s angry and loves Trump and can’t wait to vote for him. They’re right about the former. Wrong about the latter
Oh, really?
In a country of 300+ million people, Trump is the “only one?”
Most of the solutions Trump offers require an expansion of an already bloated government bureaucracy
His supporters dont mind if government were to expand on his watch as long as its Trumps big government
Sadly seems to be the case.
A government that gives you something (which it should not do,anyway) can:
A. Control your lives.
B. Take away the thing it is giving you whenever it wants to.
Be careful what you wish for.
Trump criticized Cruz because he couldn’t get along with his political opponents, and yet the only Unification that Trump seems to manage is to unify the entire political spectrum against him.
You do realize that Trump is attacking Walker for NOT raising taxes like a good RINO is supposed to do.
Because, he will “Get ‘er done” and “shake things up”
Many so-called conservatives seem willing to overlook the crazy stuff that Trump has said and keeps saying, as long as he promises to make Mexico pay for a wall and bring back a bazillion jobs to ‘Merica, by making it illegal for freeborn American citizens to build businesses overseas!
Who are you going to believe, Trump or your lying ears!
Yes. Republicans changed the John Doe law, but allowed for significant prosecution of corrupt politicians. There is some consideration in going after the democrat prosecutor and Milwaukee DA. The democrat prosecutors broke the law. (The amazing thing is that Walker as Milwaukee County Executive requested the probe into problems of someone stealing from a veterans program and the democrats tried to turn it against Walker). The hatred against Walker is so blatant.
Isn’t is better that Walker worked with the Speaker of the House and the Head of the RNC (Republicans), then Trump working with Clintoon, Pelsoi, Schumer et al. Trump is more part of establishment, he bought politicians on both sides.
Walker stood up for the people of WI and took on the political power and won. I am glad that Walker has brought together a positive coalition of voters that want a conservative government that solves problems and he needs the support of all good people. WI still leans blue/purple in many ways. Yes Walker is part of the Republican establishment as an elected Governor, but he is still a man of principle that the Republican Party is supposed to stand for.
How did Trump make all his money that funds his campaign? He bought and paid for political favors from both parties. He is part of the establishment as is Soros.
Trump does need speech writers because his off the wall comments are full of errors that indicates he does not have a comprehensive knowledge of the issues and how to solve problems. He is good at making general statements (that excites some of the public) that lack specifics and is generally not workable.
It is funny that Trump and his supporters continue to use the Democrat talking points in going after Cruz and Walker. Trump is a rude, crude and negative and is trying to split the Republican party so that he can get his 35%.
I don’t expect to change your mind about Trump, but do ask you to look at the election objectively. Trump blames everyone else - he is very negative. I do not see Trump as a true Republican or Conservative (He is for federal healthcare and federal education), but as an opportunist who will probably hand the election to Hilary.
Yes the Republican establishment needs to change - fight the power corruption and live up to the party principles. We will have a good start with Walker and Cruz.
Walker started out wonderfully, but, then he exposed his Romney, Ryan and Riense loyalty... He showed himself to be GOPe, not conservative... personally individually responsible... He went and fed at the uniparty trough.
Isnt is better that Walker worked with the Speaker of the House and the Head of the RNC (Republicans), then Trump working with Clintoon, Pelsoi, Schumer et al. Trump is more part of establishment, he bought politicians on both sides.
This is bizarre. Trump a private citizen is held to a higher standard than those that actually are in charge. Ryan is a lying RINO. Have you seen how much money is in the budget... He can cut any amount of spending, say like Plan Parenthood that everybody likes to accuse Trump of supporting. Well, who cuts the checks.... We the people do and lying Ryan is the Speaker of the People's House. IT is his responsibility to stop the Obama transfer of this nation's wealth. I want Ryan removed from office.

Initially yes he did. So much so he was the candidate I initially supported. But his first loyalty was to the GOPe NOT US. And then I find out about the Romney GOPe cabal of Ryan, Reinse and Walker..
How did Trump make all his money that funds his campaign? He bought and paid for political favors from both parties. He is part of the establishment as is Soros.
Trump has exposed what is required to be a successful business person... You have to pay off the lords and ladies in elected and appointed positions of authority to do business. Trump is rather open about crony capitalism. The GOPe requires the same bribes as do the DEMs. These packed donors get reimbursed for their donations via policies and laws passed by the Congress and the executive and judicial branches. It amazes me what is acceptable to those that call themselves conservatives.... For crying out loud the Bush family claim ol bjClinton as adopted son... And people rag that Trump had to pay to operate a business... Walker is in the same pot as the Bush family.
Trump does need speech writers because his off the wall comments are full of errors that indicates he does not have a comprehensive knowledge of the issues and how to solve problems. You consider them off the wall because you do not know who he is specifically talking to. Trump speak is on many levels... Watch what gets the news cycle focus, reacting to Trump speak... Trump speaks 'common sense' to the people language, but yet directly to those that sup at the pig trough.
It is funny that Trump and his supporters continue to use the Democrat talking points in going after Cruz and Walker. Trump is a rude, crude and negative and is trying to split the Republican party so that he can get his 35%.
I have witnessed so called conservatives/ Republicans provide the democrats every nickel and dime they request to transform this nation. Name one thing the Republicans have stopped Obama liberals from enacting... The Republicans are the problem.

I get up every day fully expecting Trump to be what the lying GOPe uniparty accuse him of being....
Yes the Republican establishment needs to change - fight the power corruption and live up to the party principles. We will have a good start with Walker and Cruz.
The point has been reached the only way to change is to fire these lords and ladies whose purpose has been to destroy the sovereignty of these United States.
These of the GOPe are not opposed to Obama ways.... They are in unison of making it happen. These that take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution have broken their oath... so has Cruz... he is not eligible to hold the office of president and he knows that... He wants to be Barry II pretending to be a conservative.
He plays to their core needs. Think about Mazlo's theory of needs. Trump talks in the very base of the pyramid. He says what they want to hear in their core needs.... and they are so wanting it to be true that they just believe it. That combined with the fact he has been an exceptional liar his entire life. An exceptional con man.
In the old days he would be the guy pulling up who sells Dr. Oz's Medicine. One drink a day will cure warts, gout, arthritis, rumatizm, your aching back, and your near nearsightedness. And the freepers here (along with the rest of the idiots that support him) can't wait to throw their money down on the counter.
Cruz actually has a conservative record... Trump has never done a single thing that was conservative in his life. Yet people want to believe Trumpy is gonna be this great conservative. The Trump supporters are demonstrating their gullibility if nothing else.... that much is for certain.
Yep... and he ain't gonna build the wall. I would bet any amount of money that 3 1/2 years into a Trumpy presidency he will be explaining why the wall wasnt' built, or even started. It will be someone else's fault. And he's going to do it in the next term. And, the trumpsters will be "all in" with him.
What record? The man is a junior senator.. He has accomplished nothing but talk and give us Roberts and ignore that gay case out of Texas....
Wonder how many US Senators salaries trump funds via taxes? How many jobs has Trump created that fund these liars and thieves that are suppose to protect and defend the constitution ..... Ted Cruz is still getting paid his Senate salary while he flits all across this land on his supporters dollars...
I am tired of having to fund on the back side of these lazy lords and ladies in elected offices. Cruz could not make a profit from a hot dog stand.
LOL!!
“What is a sleeper troll and what did you do with them after you caught them.”
I turned them over to you, so you wouldn’t feel lonely : )
So you know nothing about Cruz.... the cases he argued and won. The nature of those. Cruz is a tested conservative. Trump is a con man. Trump has no conservative record.
You came into this exchange I've been having with another Trump supporter late (welcome) so let me bring you up to speed on what we've discussed.
The other Trump supporter had the unfortunate idea of posting the thought: “Yes, he did donate to Clintons PAC and to both NYC and NY Dems, but that was more about helping his businesses than support of liberalism itself.”
When I challenged this line of thinking suddenly defending the indefensible became difficult.
Now, you want to pick up that old burden. It doesn't make any sense. Just stop.
Your comment: “Trump a private citizen is held to a higher standard than those that actually are in charge.”
So you believe the woman is the prostitute that should be in jail and not the man that paid for the service.
Trump is as guilty as the corrupt politician.
I don’t agree with you that Walker or Cruz is corrupt.
The Republican Party needs to change and I agree that many need to be replaced, but as bad as they are, they are not as evil as the Democrat party. Trump is not the answer (even if he appeals to some) - He is a negative, blame everyone else Liberal Democrat.
You are entitled to your opinion and vote, but I believe that you will be surprised if Trump does not follow through on his promises.
Anybody with a law degree can argued a lawsuit and Cruz won what? We do not need another Harvard Law Schooled, ineligible junior senator playing lawyer in the executive branch.
So you believe the woman is the prostitute that should be in jail and not the man that paid for the service.
Wrong analogy... What is the law? I do not know about who goes to jail in a prostitute and john transaction. 99.9% of government elected or appointed make or enforce laws to their own benefit. Government lords and ladies require packed donors to keep their positions of power. We the tax payers in turn pay back the donors bribes via laws and court decisions. Trump played the system and to my knowledge he distributed some of his profits to make a profit. Now he sees where this nation is headed and none on the left or the right in power have any intentions maintaining the sovereignty of this nation. Trump readily admits to how the system works... Cruz is stone cold silent on how he benefits from the system.
Trump is as guilty as the corrupt politician. I dont agree with you that Walker or Cruz is corrupt.
Again you hold a private citizen to a higher standard. The donors do NOT fund political campaigns for charity, they do indeed expect to be care for when it comes time to budgeting the spending of US tax dollars or make trade agreements.
The Republican Party needs to change and I agree that many need to be replaced, but as bad as they are, they are not as evil as the Democrat party. Trump is not the answer (even if he appeals to some) - He is a negative, blame everyone else Liberal Democrat.
Cruz has been in the Republican insider government establishment most of his legal career... The manner in which he has run his presidential campaign is a foreshadow in how he would rule over US... I look at who Cruz's donors are and who funds his packs. Those 'shaming' voter violations he sent out to the citizens of Iowa is about as snake like as one can possibly get. Especially, given he tried to play the role of on a mission from God. I could list many more character traits that Cruz has demonstrated that makes him unfit to lead... Beck.
You are entitled to your opinion and vote, but I believe that you will be surprised if Trump does not follow through on his promises.
I have no clue who will win... but honesty is the last thing I expect out of the GOPe of which has jumped full bore behind Cruz.
