The same Andrew Cuomo whose first foray into the sleazy world of NY politics was during the dem primary for mayor in NYC. When his father Mario "il sfaccim" ran against Ed Koch. He hired a "goon squad" to drive around the "good" neighborhoods in the surrounding boroughs with bullhorns shouting out "vote for Cuomo, not the homo". He pulled a similar stunt in 1986 when Koch ran against his daddy in the Dem primary for NY governor. But, racism, homophobia, sexism, and all the rest go together with democrats, they're very adept at covering up and projection. And it's ironic that native NY-ers who leave the state are flocking to NC almost at the same rate as they do to FL.

Few people realize that Cary, North Carolina is actually an acronym: C.A.R.Y.
It stands for Containment Area for Relocated Yankees.
True story. ;-)

I’m Italian and know what that meant.
My father didn’t vote for the father and I didn’t vote for the son.
can’t stand them.
If it wasn’t for wife’s very good job in Manhattan and her not wanting to leave her mother, I’d be GONE!
though staten island’s not so bad. very conservative.

I consider myself to be something of a Tarheel in exile. NY is much closer to me than NC, but I will be in NC a long time before I am in NY.

What the hell is “LGBTQ+”?
We used to simply call these vermin perverts. Now they’re a pathetic protected class of perverts.

As an ex-Ny’er I thoroughly despise that sanctimonious prick living large off Daddy’s name. And that includes that tall Wilhelm schmuck as well.

I think, just to be safe, Gov. Cuomo should recall all New Yorkers back to their homeland. Maybe Governor Christie can get on board as well...

The idea that New York office holders should seek to intimidate the Government of a sister-state in the Union, into denying basic freedom of conscience and decision making among its people, should offend anyone; that is anyone who appreciates the concept of liberty, as Americans once understood it.
This is a disgusting insult to the people of North Carolina; it is also a clear betrayal of the fundamental precepts of our common heritage.

NY and San Fran need a few counter bans to make them cut this garbage out.

Status Cuomo is one of the most arrogant pieces of excrement Albany has ever seen.
This will be a net benefit for the Tar Heel state.

I don’t know many gay people. But I would imagine that they aren’t too happy being lumped in with the transwhatever movement. Then again...
