I think Cruz has a chance in my old district, and in some other upstate districts as well. You do realize that New York is not ‘winner-take-all’ statewide, do you not?

I will admit that you are closer than I am by far now that I have decamped, and I agree that at the moment Trump seems to have a lock. But I don’t think ALL New York Republicans have lost their freaking minds.

Any lawsuit for libel against the NE on the basis of that article by a ‘public person’ is absolutely bound to fail because malice will be impossible to prove.

Better if one or more of the women do so, but they would also face difficulty since the NE carefully worded everything to avoid actually accusing anyone of anything, and they can (and most assuredly will) say that they tried to prevent identification of the women.

And now that Carly is on-board, the Cruz campaign will suffer the same fate as the Compaq/HP merger......a small bump then the bottomless pit.

Agreed. Can’t prove malice.

HP gave me 10 shares for 10 years service in 1994. It was worth about $800. Now 10 shares of HP is worth about $120.

I note that Amanda Carpenter, like Heidi, is not to be seen today, at least not on twitter which is very unusual....yesterday, she was very active, very cocky, very in-your-face. today, not so much. we don’t know why, of course, but i bet this is the first day in a long time she hasn’t tweeted.

“Does that count? Are you NOT interested in understanding what triggered her to fall apart?”

No, I’m not. As I said this is the sort of garbage that makes all politics disgusting. For the record Mrs. Cruz isn’t seeking any office, her name is not on a single ballot.

The only question you have asked that has any relevance is the question about what looks like possible hush money to Carly.. the rest is just trash garbage trite.

I don’t support Cruz, but this sort of bottom feeding nonsense is just that.

She’s not campaigning with him.
She’s hiding.
Did she run to Texas or DC?
Did she run home?

And does her brother work with the Clinton Foundation in Haiti?

“Delete Social Media”

Lee Atwater died in 1991. He must have been a visionary.

You seem to imply that social media did not exist in 1991. It did, but it was on dial-up.

A bulletin board system, or BBS, is a computer server running custom software that allows users to connect to the system using a terminal program. Once logged in, the user can perform functions such as uploading and downloading software and data, reading news and bulletins, and exchanging messages with other users through email, public message boards, and sometimes via direct chatting. Many BBSes also offer on-line games, in which users can compete with each other, and BBSes with multiple phone lines often provide chat rooms, allowing users to interact with each other. Bulletin board systems were in many ways a precursor to the modern form of the World Wide Web, social networks and other aspects of the Internet. Low-cost, high-performance modems drove the use of online services and BBSes through the early 1990s. Infoworld estimated there were 60,000 BBSes serving 17 million users in the United States alone in 1994, a collective market much larger than major online services like CompuServe.
You may not know that before Free Republic, Jim Robinson had been a regular poster on the Prodigy Whitewater News Bulletin board. He brought disgruntled compatriots across to the new internet based platform he named FreeRepublic. Some of those old-timers are still on here with dates in 1996 or 1997.

LOL, even email existed back then. MCI Mail service was launched on September 23, 1983, in Washington, D.C. I hired on with MCI two months later and provided some technical support until it shut down in 2003. I remember shutting down some of the servers at our site in Atlanta. It is hard to believe I have been a user of email for over thirty years.

I don’t support Cruz, but this sort of bottom feeding nonsense is just that.

I believe Mrs. Cruz has already made the statement "it's WHY we decided to run>"

I believe she was constituting the fact that she is his sidekick in his effort to seek the nomination.

The only question you have asked that has any relevance is the question about what looks like possible hush money to Carly.. the rest is just trash garbage trite.

In your mind maybe... but for most of America's voters it's viewed quite differently. They want answers while you're busy being "appalled."

Do I sense an underlying desire, by you, to be a "drama queen?"

Supposedly Heidi is going to be at a kickoff to a women’s coalition deal in Madison tomorrow.

Senator Thomas Eagleton's chronic emotional issues caused him to step down the Vice Presidential candidate for McGovern.

First Lady is a de facto office at least as important as VP. I want to know if Heidi Cruz is tormented in any way by creepy Ted. Even if it is just his gaslighting her to accept his ignominious ascension to his own demigodhood.

“First Lady is a de facto office at least as important as VP”

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH if you believe that, you really need to go find a copy of the constitution and read it.

The first lady has ZERO official power, is not elected nor granted any government power. Just because Bill Clinton pretended to give Hillary some so she would be busy and occupied so he could have his little trysts does not make the first lady in any way an elected official, let alone one on par with the Vice president.
