Then why does Heidi and Ted send numerous emails a day begging for money? I donated to trump ONCE! And that was to the vets that night. I have not received one email from trump begging for more money. Something stinks in cruzville.

If you are having a fund raiser and evryone cancels there is no need to hold the fund raiser, even Ted sCruz knows that
got enough money already!
I'm not trying to make to sense of it. Just providing the answer I found when researching the issue. I also looked into what was going on with Carly in June.
The donation was made two days after Carly's appearance on The View, for which she received much acclaim.

Certainly don't blame you! Lol. I've heard this. It just makes no sense. I personally wish it did, because, although a Trump supporter, I do like Cruz. I would love to see the lawsuits fly on this, and prove the Enquirer wrong about everything. But that's not happening thus far, and it's extremely disheartening.

As for Trump not asking, he can afford to do that. Cruz can’t. I see no conspiracy in asking for money.
Doesn’t cruz need NY, NJ, CT, RI, MD, PA if he has ay chance opf getting enough delegates or is he there to take as may away from Trump to give the establishment what they want?
If so then is it not a case he is an establishment spoiler, a hack for them and does that not mean a vote for cruz is a vote for the establishment now?
I think that Cruz’s chances in New York and New Jersey would be greatly enhanced by a thoroughgoing whupping of both Trump and Kasich in Wisconsin.
A big win in Wisconsin is within reach and is worth going for full bore.

Any such lawsuit would be for libel. Since Cruz is a public figure, he cannot base a claim for relief on the untruthfulness of the allegations. He would have to prove in a court of law that the NE writer(s) acted with malice and did so with knowledge that the allegations were false. That’s a very high bar. It’s hard to prove malice ... as opposed to the very nature of NE in seeking publicity/attention.
