A Washington Times writer was abruptly fired after he came clean on Twitter about the Ted Cruz sex scandal. The writer, Drew Johnson, confirmed via his Twitter account that there was some truth to the Ted Cruz affair rumors noting that he knows at least two of the mistresses named by the National Enquirer are accurate. The columnist says that other media outlets, columnists and reporters knew about the affairs, but refused to run the story.
The National Enquirer has caused a media firestorm after publishing a cover story about GOP presidential hopeful Ted Cruz and a series of alleged mistresses. The publication is a known tabloid, but despite its reputation for the sensational, has broke a number of big stories related to political candidates and high profile cases in the past. For example, the National Enquirer was the first to break stories about Gary Hart, Jesse Jackson and John Edwards before they were confirmed by the mainstream media. Therefore, when the tabloid decided to run with a story about Ted Cruz and his rumored five mistresses, it left some questioning if the bombshell report could be true.
In response to the story in question, a Washington Times columnist responded that it is not entirely bogus as from what he knows at least two of the mistresses outlined in the report are accurate.

In matters of my faith in Jesus Christ
I weigh the facts presented
...ahh, you’re a lousy believer since you deal in gossip, against the simple 10 commandments. There are no facts presented, nice try you embarassing gossip!

still support Cruz after the Carson debacle? The threatening voter debacle? The emails claiming Rubio is leaving the race
...and if you believe the above dishonest, non-story leftist Alinski smear lines, then you are a tRumpary kool-aid swallower!

Here’s my take.
Drew “confirmed” that two of the women were “accurate.”
When he confirmed that, he didn’t have independent proof of an affair. He’s not an investigative reporter, btw. He was confirming that two of the women who were pictured (but not named) in the National Enquirer piece were two women who were rumored to have had affairs with Ted Cruz.
Because of his (intentionally?) sloppy wording, he put his employer in a bad place of being linked to an unsupported National Enquirer piece and they had to let him go. Twitter and the blogosphere exploded with “Washington Times reporter confirms...”
In a subsequent tweet, when pressed for details, Drew coyly declined to give any details saying another source had the story and they had their information.
Perhaps in this next piece, the National Enquirer can make a factual claim about Cruz's affairs. They haven't yet.
Yes, who took that photo? Also, there appears to be what looks like a mans shirt on the chair.

You are an insidious snake if you support Cruz.
Sensor? Are you serious?//
Absolutely serious. You cruzard Trump haters would love to suppress anything that doesn’t praise your boy.
I can understand your confusion and frustration that your boy is getting beaten like a drum by a “NY liberal.” But that’s life.
Nice to meet you, Jesus. I hadn't heard You had returned.
oh, too bad the Laz likes to deal in gossip too, so constructive for the discourse level on FR....
Hit it Laz, you always raise the level of debate... Hit it again, man! wohooo, Laz luv him some gossipin’....

What do you believe in?
Deuteronomy 17:6 “At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.”
Deuteronomy 19:15 “One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.”
Proverbs 14:15 “The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.”
Proverbs 16:27-280 “An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire. A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.”
The last two verses give the modus operandi of the National Enquirer and to a large degree the rest of the media. There's plenty of time to let the dust settle before the stoning begins.
You don’t get to judge, you freakin flakejob. You are not God (I know, I know, that must be a shock to you). You aren’t Jesus. You don’t get to decide who is sinning and who isn’t.
Besides, WTF are you talking about, me gossiping? If I was REALLY to gossip, I might make note of the fact that your text looks like you are drinking, before noon, which is the mark of a dedicated alcoholic. I might mention that you are clearly an alcoholic who desperately needs intervention and AA.
I've seen no absolute proof. That's not usually available to the public.
I have seen Ted Cruz making a less than definitive denial, some very strange tweets by Amanda Carpenter, Ted and Amanda's matching temporary Churchill tattoos, and Heidi Cruz vanishing from the campaign trail.
If it's true we'll know by next week.
Smears my arse! You know damn well what happened to Carson in Iowa. Even the Iowan States Attorney said what Cruz did was Wrong if not criminal.
well you brought up your a$$ not me... but the above is a LIE. A former Sec of State confirmed that the mailers were normal, regular, done many times before, and that the “outrage” was truly selective!! Repeating the CNN headline, as did the Rubio campaign to suggest to caucus goers is a perfectly valid argument for your candidate, which is what takes place in a caucus... but tRumpers don’t like it so let’s all condemn!!.... pfffft

go back to YOUR Tequila Laz, I’m at the office working to pay more 0bamao taxes you twit...
Never said I was Jesus, where did you get that goofy idea... the Tequila?? Obvious sins are... well obvious and gossip is one, or don’t you believe that? Hit it baby!!

That's probably a large mirror. Someone who's stayed in that hotel could confirm that some of the rooms have them.
Yes! Not unlike when I hear "Americans..." as if any one person speaks for ALL Americans.
You want to judge people, you drunken sot, you want to tell people who follows the 10 commandments and who doesn’t. SOBER UP, you lush, and stop drinking on the job!
And no, you may not be Jesus. That’s the booze talking to you.
