Trump pretty much does every interview he can. I think he did just fine, talked over the guy a lot, got his points out. He should have just refused to discuss the wives thing, and just switched to the policy stuff.
I had never heard of Sykes before, I doubt if Trump had ever heard of him. He might have some sort of following in the Milwaukee area, his show is owned by the same people who own the Milwaukee Journal, and when have you heard of any major newspaper owned by a conservative outfit.
Sykes is just one of those guys who has pretty much said they’d vote for Hillary instead of Trump. So his claim to be a conservative is a lie.

I just finished listening to the whole thing. Every time Donald Trump goes to enemy territory, such as a #nevertrump local radio talk show, he holds his own and stays on message, while at the same time actually answering the questions.
As far a keeping Heidi Cruz out of the fray, why doesn’t she go home and take care of her two daughters? She can occasionally come on stage and say a few nice things about Ted, and then go home and raise the children. If she continues to have a policy position in the campaign, then she should expect to receive scrutiny on her policy positions.
They will not stay home. Trump will lose big time.
Isn’t way past time to have a guy on the Right who actually FIGHT’S BACK? The Left has always used shame, intimidation, and political correctness to try to keep the Right from countering their attacks. The Right for the most part has meekly obeyed the Left’s PC rules. That’s a large part of why the socialists have won over that last few decades.
Now apparently the Right is engaged in the same kind of effort to stop someone who is willing to counterattack.
America needs a fighter and a winner. America doesn’t need more PC. I think in Trump we have a fighter and a winner and someone who rejects PC.

I think the reason Cruz is being so unfairly attacked, is that he is viewed as a real threat to Dear Leader (Donald Trump).
It is too bad. I really only started posting to try and add some balance to the Trump followers. A lot of the Cruz supporters have left, or are not posting, due to hostility, threats etc. It is too bad. I would greatly prefer policy discussions, but the Trump supporters generally respond personally.
