Cruz's campaign manager, Jeff Roe, bought the rights to the photo of Melania. I'm sure he had nooo contact with the Cruz super pac that made and aired the ad! /s
On the story about Cruz's infidelity, Google Cruz, Rubio and The Thing. Rubio's camp is the one that dug up this story in their opposition research.
I will add that Trump knows lots of people in NY and around the nation due to his business dealings. He can't be blamed for every anti Cruz story that comes out. There are a lot of groups out there that Cruz and his personality have turned off.
He's a tough and smart guy. I figure it's like half time at a football game. Trump will go in and reassess and adjust for the next round.
Isn't it amazing that no matter how hard they try and how much they dig, none of Trump's past associates, wives, or employees say a negative thing about him. I think that escapes most people.

Some guy named Brian Crabtree who has a show on Atlanta Biz 1190 AM says he knows somebody in the Cruz campaign who says Ted may have had affairs. He says they are in panic mode. Also told Crabtree that Heidi pushed hard for an all male campaign staff.

What does one call a member of Free Republic with a sign up date of 7-31-2000, makes their first post on 3-9-02, has their first page of posting history span almost 6 years, (3-9-02 to 1-3-08), second page of posting history spans from 1-3-08 to 2-1-2016, disappears from the forum from 1-3-12 then reappears and begins posting like a zealot for Ted Cruz on 12-19-15?

Iowa David, I’d call you an election year FReeper troll or a paid operative. Yes, it took me a few minutes to look into your history here, but the only attention I’ll ever pay you again is to repost this comment to discredit you.
What do we want instead? Someone who's bragged about multiple, highly public affairs in his own autobiography, who's bragged about his conquests on Howard Stern's show? Trump's past flings aren't rumors. Or do you want to bring back some acknowledged puritan, like Romney, through a brokered convention? Because if you want a GOP candidate who's been running competitively AND who's not an adulterer, you're only option is to fight the rumors and trust Ted.
This cycle rumors, alone, aren't enough to stop a candidate. Clinton and Trump have swatted away incredible amounts of stuff. They've even made Trump stronger. It's certainly plausible Cruz can shrug off this weak, hard to believe, attack. And it's possible, like several attacks against Trump, that this may rebound against those perceived as pushing the attack. And regardless of whether Trump was involved before it was published, his supporters, including those here, are clearly pushing it hard now.
