I thought that it had been shown on FR in the past that there is no way to effectively do that because unless every other country stopped purchases of Saudi oil it would still end up in the world market and in American purchases.

And what would Trump do about oil the Refineries that the Saudis own, nationalize them? I am all for holding the Saudis accountable, but is this just more attractive talk from Trump that really hasn't a chance in reality?

They could just sell it elsewhere through a third party like a great deal of the crude oil imported to the U.S. from Russia before the Iraq war was actually oil from Iraqi fields sold through Russian middlemen.

How will we ever find out if the topic isn’t discussed? Trump is bringing it up. Are all the questions answered now? No. Does that mean there can never be an answer or movement away from the Saudi Oil? No.

Sometimes things happen in stages. As opposed to Obama and the Dems just shoving new regulations down our throat via EPA.
