The organisers of a "March Against Fear" planned for Sunday to mark the Brussels terror attacks said they had cancelled the event after the authorities asked them to do so because of security fears.
"We understand this request. The security of our citizens is an absolute priority. We join the authorities in proposing a delay and ask people not to come this Sunday," the organisers said in a statement on Saturday.

Yes, cower in fear.
sometimes irony can really be ironic
I often wonder how this generation would have fared during WW2.
I no longer wonder.
I heard this on the radio a few hours ago. It’s almost laughable that, as you put it, they cancelled the march against fear due to fear.
I almost fell out of my chair in disbelief.
Whether they know it or not, they just guaranteed an emboldened army of terrorists that now know they hold all the cards. Nice going Brussels.
Instead of a parade, perhaps they could have fireworks — you know, just napalm the refugee camps or something.
It would be festive.
I am telling you right now, there is an unholy alliance between the far left and the radical Islamists of the George Soros crowd of disruptors and domestic terrorist, and unless something is done to monitor as well as cancel their mob events which absolutely are going to use violence, the Islamic terrorists and the Palestinian haters of America in the crowds will set off a huge terrorist bombing and murders.
March Against Fear, how gay.
How about sending Islamic filth back to their respective s***holes?
False compassion giving way to genuine fear. When will thinking be back in vogue? Ever?
Too soon?
They won’t give up on their liberalism even if it kills them.
Spot on post!
They need to march on the Mosques and ME embassies.
“It appears the “March Against Fear” was cancelled due to....FEAR! “

You could not make this up.
Pretty funny !
.
March with tanks and flame throwers straight into the refugee camps.
Yep, no men left in Europe; just pajama boys. Anyone got that pic to post?
“sometimes irony can really be ironic”
Well, they could change it to “Cower Against Fear”
Cowardice befits a weakling.
Perhaps instead the Pope can go over there and lovingly wash some ISIS feet.......
