If Trump had anything to do with it you would think she would be admitting to the affair to bolster the claims. She is not. This has the marks of GOPe divide and conquer game. Clearly. And I'm a Trump supporter. Make no mistake.
I think those who are Trump supporters jumping in on the story and relishing it are probably just eager to find a mistake in Ted because of what they see as a self righteous attitude and vindication of hypocrisy is always relishing. However, I think that is a mistake and the forces that wish to divide conservative and conservative leaning people are the ones relishing this the most. Divide and conquer at the convention. The National Enquirer has run this same kind of hit-piece on every Trump opponent as soon as they threaten his lead.
The National Enquirer hit-piece accusing Jeb of having an affair with a lawyer who was once a Playboy bunny, at the same time as Trump posted an unflattering photo of Jeb’s adult daughter... brings up the old saying, “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on ME!” This is just how Trump functions, and his good buddy who’s in charge of the Enquirer has been happy to help out.
It’s a bit rich, though, that the hit was that Jeb had an affair with a Playboy bunny. Seems like that’s something that Trump would BOAST about, not consider it anything bad...
