However, Cruz’s response is poor — blaming Trump, angry at Trump ... if it were baseless, I’d mock the NE and compare the story to bat-boy or some other tripe. Twitter has not been a tool to elevate the campaign this year, that’s for sure.
I'm sure Cruz did think it was Trump that broke the story but what would Trump gain? Trump was already on track to get the needed 1237 and he knew Cruz wasn't.
Cruz probably never suspected that the GOPe crowd might be behind this story so yes, his response wasn't well thought out.
Makes me wonder if GOPe wants Hillary to win. She’d be more likely to keep the status quo that lines their pockets.
