As far as I'm concerned not voting for our Rebublican nominee against the America-hating, constitution-hating, God-hating Marxist/fascist/socialist/democrat totalitarian traitors is tantamount to treason.

I can remember when we fought real wars against these communist bastards and real Americans died to preserve our Constitution and our freedom and our right to vote. Those who think they're too good to VOTE against the commies can piss away their freedom on some other website.

Those agreeing that another commie should win the election unopposed and without a fight or even a vote are welcome to join her.

Cruz is not winning, so he is actively cooperating with the GOPE to rig a steal of the nomination. To fail to vote for Cruz in that circumstance, in the General Election, could be said to be a matter of conscience against a corrupt totalitarian thief who stole the nomination.

Of course, folks who won't vote for Cruz in the election are doing it because it's a matter of conscience.

I also saw a post by Jim Robinson wherein he urged people to join together to beat Hillary.

There are times when I said it as well, some times you need to vent because Trump does some pretty stupid things. And voicing our opinion helps shape perception and will hopefully reign in his stupidity.

I voted only one time.

I never understood why I should vote again.

I don't necessarily think that's a very good barometer of FR sentiments, but it appears to me there is a bit more support for Trump than Cruz here.

It also appears a lot of Cruz supporters (the crazier ones) have gone to other sites to plot against FR and try to get Hillary elected.

If Cruz wins, I'll support him. Heck I held my nose and voted for Romney, and Cruz isn't near that bad.

The fact is that there are many, many members here who like Ted Cruz and who do not like Donald Trump or, like me, do not think Donald Trump can win the general election.

I think that freepers who prefer Cruz deserve the same consideration within certain limits that the Trump supporters do.

The Trump supporters are not a total majority here although they are so noisy it seems like it. Don’t go totally by Doughty’s poll, most Cruz supporters don’t bother with it anymore.

For someone who has been here as long as you have, don't you know you should *ping* someone when you refer to them? I've included DoughtyOne in my response to save you the bother, an oversight on your part I'm sure.

So, all I’m asking for is that Cruz supporters be allowed to post relevant articles even though they may offend the tender sensibilities of mkjessup.

It's not about me Sparky, and you will note that I've not been whining away about what articles get posted, I meet them head on, post my comments appropriately and proportionally, and let the chips fall where they may.

I have not gone to any other sites but I understand why some people did.

The mods have been pretty good to me when I report abuse over some of the really nasty comments made to Cruz supporters but they just keep coming.

The trumpers cannot drive me away ... I don’t care what they say to me because I know where their minds are (and heads).

I mean voting every day is ridiculous .. like it’s gonna change over night. If Doughty did it once a week, I might vote. Doughty is a great guy ... if all trumpers were like him, Cruz people would feel more welcome here.

Many of those people left only because they no longer felt welcome. I doubt seriously if they were plotting against FR or supporting Hillary

You are seeming to forget, like a few others, that Trump unlike most presidential candidates has a real business outside of politics. His business is based on his name. Trump, a man who is all about self-promotion, is already taking a huge risk by running. If he wins, he will do his best to keep his promises as he has done in business, as if he doesn’t and he turns his back on the electorate they will in turn take it out on his brand and business. He potentially has a lot to lose especially considering his family and business.
