Jeff Roe has a terrible reputation in politics for being a dirty player.

The EXACT same tactic used on Carson in Iowa, was used a few years ago by Roe against another candidate. It’s documented. There have been complaints filed against him, but without clear evidence, he’s never found at fault.

He’s very disliked in his home state, and those who despise him, believe he’s directly responsible for driving a candidate to suicide - because Roe was behind a terrible whisper campaign that the man simply couldn’t cope with. A very short time later, the candidate’s close associate also committed suicide.

Many ppl believe Roe knew something about the two men, that he threatened to expose, that possibly would have been worse than suicide to both of them. YKWIM.

If you research Jeff Roe, you’ll find he’s using the same playbook with Cruz that he’s used in previous campaigns with other candidates.

He begged Cruz (read this on another site) for the job.

Sounds like he might be jamming sticks in Cruz’s spokes with overzealousness.

Yup, Jeff Roe is a real POS and that Cruz hired him to run his campaign reflects very poorly on Cruz.
