I think it’s the Clintonista’s and the Kristol’nacht’s that hope a third party Ross Perot comes along....

It would be good if Kristol himself became the third-party candidate. Would be nothing to see there

This approach is not acceptable. I am sure his voice is not a majority opinion. Cruz or Trump, lets have it out fair and square. None of this inside Beltway antics. I’ve had my own issues with Kristol going back 20 years or more when he was the chief to Dan Quayle. I surmised him to be a part of the foreign influence lobby in Washington, D.C.

This is a war not between left and right....it is a war between the stuck up and the rest of us. But let us not hate the stuck up. They are ruled by fear, lest they be found out. They must never, at all costs, admit they are voting for someone as blue collar as Trump. Nor may they ever admit that is really what they hold against him.

Kristol might as well have endorsed Hillary - he can join those that believe a contested/brokered convention will work in our interests.

This Bill Kristol?

Kristol fired back, saying “no” and pointing out how the bailouts started under the George W. Bush administration. That prompted Maher to interject, “Well, the Tea Party condemned them?”

“The Tea Party condemned a lot of things it was right to condemn,” Kristol responded, before adding, “That was not the origin of the Tea Party. What was the origin of the Tea Party five years ago? It was about a mortgage bill, and it was about Obamacare, and it was about the stimulus.”

Maher then claimed the entire Tea Party movement was racist. “It was about a black president,” he said.

The Ivory Tower opinion of both Kristol and Maher is refuted with a single picture from the Colorado Springs Tea Party:

2009 Constitution Day tea party

Dear RINOcratic Kristol fans,

Did you know that ESAD is a double entente for which the lesser known meaning is "If you do, you will"?

Bon Appetit,

A Tea Partyer.

Bill Kristol: I Hope a Third Party Candidate Comes Forward

"I kind of like the Federalist Party. They were a great party for the first 12 years in the republic before they went out of business. The Alexander Hamilton Party, there are a lot of good names," said Kristol, whose publication is a leading conservative opinion magazine.

Well first of all, I agree with Kristol for once, and this time it is for two things! Yes Bill, PLEASE talk Bloomberg into running, I'm begging you. That A-hole would put New York firmly into play for Trump because Bloomberg would split the city vote, and Albany, and make my state a nail-biter for Hillary.

Secondly, of course this idjit would like to resurrect the (F)ederalist party, and he's right! It was the Machiavellian Hamilton, the only non Natural Born founder, damned near friendless and highly suspected by his peers, who deflected America from its righteous trajectory in the first place. The party was ultimately crushed by Jefferson and his republicans.

This is one of the great "tells" of this absolutely idiotic retard Bill Kristol. Calling them 'great', especially during those first dozen years when they were actively circumventing the Constitution even before the ink was dry tells you all you need to know. This guy is a putz. And even though we don't normally do these things, this guys really should be stripped of citizenship and shipped off to England where he belongs. He is a Tory, an enemy to the Declaration and now an admitted traitor to America.

Ironically, I have long pushed for the resurrection of the Democratic-Republican party to expedite the death of the GOP for two reasons. It will confuse many because of its amalgam of both modern party names in its own name, allowing disaffected (D)emocrats to feel comfortable, and for others to accept it as a kind of fusion of both even though it really is not. There really is no name more appropriate that hasn't already been tried in our history.

NOTE: the name Democratic-Republican party is kind of a nom de guerre, a modern retcon used to group the republicans aka Jeffersonians aka Jeffersonian Republicans opposing the (F)ederalists in Washington's second term and the incoming Adams administration from about 1792 until that system crumbled after 1824. This was Jefferson and Madison's baby, and it was designed to block the (F)ederalists for very specific reasons.

And those reasons are directly related to today. (F)ederalists had love for British style monarchy in their DNA ( expressed openly by Hamilton ). It was the home of the defeated tories, loyalists and traitors who were spared their well-earned exile or execution. They despised the backward hicks in the Southern states and even plotted their own secession of the North when the republicans stated gaining traction. Direct taxes, the Whiskey Rebellion putdown, Alien and Sedition Acts and their hatred of the French Revolution shined a light on their beliefs - a more moderate version of King George's previous regime.

Historians have incorrectly put the (DR) party as forerunner to the (D)ummycrats, but that is so false as to be laughable ( and they perpetuated the myth using their recently de-emphasized Jefferson-Jackson day dinners ). Jeffersonian republicans had one major common denominator, States rights and a minimal FedGov. The (DR) republicans splintered into Jacksonian (D)emocrats and Clay/JQAdams (NR) National Republicans ( and later to (W)higs ). The direct connection is spiritually (F) to (D) if you leave out Jackson and Polk and few more, and from (DR) to (R) if you leave out Lincoln and a lot of later ones. Reagan was spiritually a (DR), while Wilson, FDR, LBJ, Clinton, Dumbo all are spiritually (F). Centralized FedGov superiority vs State/Individual sovereignty is the absolute discriminating characteristic walling off the two sides of America.

The current GOPe (R)epublicrats along with their (D)ummycrat frenemies are strongly reminiscent of the circa 1796-1800 (F)ederalists, only much more corrupt and unified. Jefferson went to extraordinary lengths to destroy those traitors of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. As Adam's Vice-President he practically declared war on his own President and built a party from the ground up far and wide and pushed right up against the boundary of treason in order to rescue the country from the neo-Monarchists and trounced them thoroughly in just four years in what I would call the second American revolution. His victory was so complete that John Adams slipped out of town at 4am well before Jefferson was sworn in March 4, 1801.

Unfortunately, thanks the tendency toward runaway institutionalized bureaucracy of human beings it was all for naught, because even 24 straight years of Constitutionalist Presidents could not prevent the dripping chinese water torture of creeping FedGov growth. Jackson's (D)emocrat party is directly connected to modern (D)ummycrats historically, but neither he or Polk would recognize them today. Indeed many (F)ederalists, exclusing Hamilton of course, would also not recognize the parties today. All of them would recoil in horror at what the years have brought to the FedGov.

If the current onslaught of GOPers is successful in stealing the (R) nomination then a new party will need to be considered. In the meantime, I suggest that everyone who might be considering sitting the election out instead phone up your local elections board and get familiar with the write-in process. Do not waste your vote. Write Trump in if they somehow stop him in Cleveland.

The more Kristol talks...the more people have the GOPe.... I guess he is too isolated in his DC bubble to realize it.

Cannot stand to see him on t.v.

Frankly he has a great idea, now if we can convince Nader to join with Bernie, that would be a great 3rd party.
