Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory
me brain

Posted on 03/25/2016 4:02:36 PM PDT by dirtboy

Who would have thought?

Jeb Bush spent $120 million and got knocked out.

Rubio - knocked out.

All the RINOs - gone except one and he is trailing with no chance of winning.

The two anti-GOPe candidates control the path to Cleveland. And what is happening?

We are pissing away our golden opportunity by turning on each other.

If you are for Cruz, please promote Cruz.

If you are for Trump, please promote Trump.

But for God's sake, please turn away from the increasingly bitter feud between the two camps.

This insanity has to stop. Or else the GOPe will find a way to undo the majority we have woven because we are too busy fighting each other.

Please, please, please - keep your powder dry for the real enemy - the GOPe and Hillary.

And pull your punches against the folks here who should be your allies.

” every dirty trick, every nasty lie,
every backstab traces to Cruz, Romney and Rubio.”

You do know you just stabbed a conservative in the back.
You do know that you are doing the liberals bidding.
Those aren’t questions, they are facts.
Tell me, if Cruz
wins are you going to sit it out or vote for Hillary?
All the Cruz supporters I know say they would have to vote on
principle and vote for Trump. Are you that principled?

Good sensible vanity question and over half the posts in reply tear at one to promote the other.

I can hear what you are saying but besides our disappointment with the two candidates, our disappointment with troll infiltration, we also have to be disappointed in our fellow forum members in many cases.

It is becoming a case study in “What will Save Hillary.”

I don’t remember the childish name calling when Reagan battled Ford for the 1976 nomination. The crap talk about wives, the “liar” garbage, the constant twitter talk off the cuff. Why couldn’t one of them say “Its Easter weekend, Good Friday, this talk is not worthy of a response, period”! Instead, publicly debating a “story” from the National Enquirer? Good grief!!

Some fight for Trump, some fight for Cruz. In the end this gets you Walker (if you are lucky).

The only other time I have been so attacked on FR is when vaccine issues pop up. Other than that yes. No sense insulting the other half of the crew, Trump supporters or Cruz supporters, when we need each others’ votes. And we all know the GOPe hates both of them so they are doing something right.

I saw Lindsey Graham on “Morning Joe” the other day and he was saying he supported Cruz with a lack of any spirit or enthusiasm. He was low energy all the way in expressing his preference for Ted.

The GOPe is whipped and it is between a rock (Cruz) and a hard place (Trump).

They have to support Cruz (take their castor oil) because the alternatives would be using dirty tactics to take Trump out at convention and or be the ultimate hypocrites by launching a third party.

All this fighting and trashing isn’t worth the energy.

I saw this fight coming months ago and have always suspected the GOPe to be behind it.

I agree with your pessimism. The Republicans have done it again with their circular firing squad. And, this time, they have outdone themselves in wallowing in the mud on ridiculous topics such as the size of hands and attacking the spouses of their competitors....not to mention the like of Mitt Romney shooting his mouth off on a regular basis.

Message to GOP:
You assholes have already lost this election to the awful Hillary Clinton....likely by a landslide. Good job, idiots.
