The April 4 edition of The National Enquirer makes damaging claims about Ted Cruz in a bold, above-the-fold headline. But dont be so quick to write it off as another silly claim by a silly tabloid. A political columnist for The Washington Times just backed up the story that Cruz had multiple extramarital affairs.
Yes, the very religious Republican presidential candidate had so many affairs and one-night stands that its over for Pervy Ted, the supermarket tabloid claims.
Cruzs 5 Secret Mistresses! Their Shocking Claims!
Conservative Family Man Evangelical HYPOCRITE!
Claiming unidentified investigators and political operatives as sources, the rag claims Cruz had five extramarital affairs, which include women who worked for his campaign and even a high-priced prostitute.
Randy Ted supposedly had a romp with her in a closet at a Republican state convention.
Its alleged that Ted hooked up with her at the Republican Capitol Hill Club in a private room.
The two were caught getting cozy on the campaign trail.
A very sexy Austin schoolteacher who may have had a fling with Ted after he was appointed Texas Solicitor General.
Ted supposedly had it on with a prostitute.
The Washington Times Drew Johnson says the Enquirer is at least partially correct. He tweeted on March 25 that he personally knows of two of those five affairs.
Even without Johnsons defense of the story, remember that it was this same National Enquirer that had the scoop on John Edwards affair . And that same story crumbled the political campaign of the Democratic presidential wannabe in 2008.
That doesnt mean that this bombshell about Casanova Cruz has guaranteed accuracy, of course. But if the tabloid batted one-thousand on Edwards, then a simple two-out-of-five .400 RBI would carry just as much impact.
Will these new rumors affect Cruzs campaign? A secret source of National Enquirer sure thinks so:
Cruzs image as a Christian Family Man is utterly destroyed.
The U.S. Senator from Texas currently has 465 delegates in the race to gain Republican Party nomination in the 2016 presidential race. Donald Trump has 739. A minimum of 1,237 delegates are needed to gain the nomination before the national convention, and 944 delegates are still open in upcoming primary elections.
That is a pretty bizarre and funny thing to say. Ever.
Not buying it. This is a clear Trump hit job and it smells of desperation.
He is screaming how much he loves the bible.
He is screaming how much he loves the bible.
Cantor lost because of Cruz.
Well, I’ll have to defer to your experience with how long one can stay interested in a hooker. I can only guess.
What polls? They all showed trump winning
I almost stopped reading at the first sentence.
Do you truly believe that if this came from trump, he did not direct this at Cruz?
Trump... The guy who calls women “pigs”? The one who says a certain woman’s face is too ugly to be president?
I’m not saying he said any of this but seriously, if he did, would you really be surprised? ‘Cause.... It is right up trump’s ally. Trash talk like a twelve year old. When you’ve got nothing logical to say, rip them apart. It is the new American way. Forget “PC”.... Forget common politeness. Just rip them apart based on vain traits like a facial expression.... A mole.... Bad teeth. Rip them apart!
Trust me, it will make you feel so much better.
“...these sleazy Trump tactics.”
Huh? How in Sam Hill are you making Trump responsible for this story, or even connecting him to it?
There’s no evidence for that, whatsoever.
In the same way Cruz and his supporters blame Trump for Brussels.
The Ted Cruz closet must have a revolving door. ;-)
“Trump is no out SCREAMING about what a conservative Christian he is!!! We ALL know what Trump is he is not lying about it!!! Cruz is out there PREACHING this holier than thou Christian crap, what an untrusTed hypocrite!!! Just sayin!!!”
Exactly! Trump said he is not PC and he definitely is not. Cruz tells us how holier-than-thou he is and he bashes Trump after promising to run a clean campaign. He refuses to denounce the dirty politics he’s involved in though.
“I am so not surprised at this. Since the minute I was born Ive been surrounded by ministers and minister types. I could tell you stories........ oy! The most self-righteous, carrying the biggest Bibles, usually have the most to hide.”
That’s disappointing since I’m looking for a church to go to since we moved ;(
I supported Cruz in the very beginning, but the cracks started early. It was apparent early on that he wasn’t what he pretended.
Maybe it’s like most psychologists are nutty as loones. They both think they’ll heal themselves by helping others.
When my system warns me, I pass it along. It warned me. I dont get warnings on my machine like that often. Was related to flash.
Two of the 5 women Have denied this story said it is complete BS...
CottonBall... When we moved to TN we figured there would be a bazillion “good” (fundamental, traditional) churches to choose from. We’re Baptist, and they are EVERYWHERE. One corner near us has eight arrows pointing toward different Baptist churches.
This month we’ll have been here six years. Still haven’t found one that we love. We’ve settled for one with an excellent preacher — really wonderful. Other stuff isn’t great but I guess when it comes to church the message is primary.
In my post I wasn’t saying that ALL ministers are hypocrites, but some are, as in all walks of society. What makes is remarkable is that they’re supposed to be better; they just are.
Oh the irony. Ted was Cruzified on Good Friday.
But the story ends there. In this story, you won’t find a Wise Man or a Virgin. ;-)
One booger at a time.
I figured I’d go church-hopping for a year, to pick one.
Yes, I’ll most likely end up Baptist! LOL! there literally is a church on every corner here, and even some tucked away in residential neighborhoods. I don’t see how there’s enough people to support all the churches! But it is great to be around church-going folks. They are great, warts and all.
