Trump, the "deal maker" had to have made quite a few deals with the Mob, as the building and construction industries in NYC were controlled by the Mob. Gambinos particularly.

If Trump hires a firm like ABC Concrete and they subcontract the materials to Gambino’s Concrete and Disposal, did Trump make a direct deal with the mob? I doubt so, and you would be grasping at straws
