Poll Suggests Donald Trump Would Be Weak Candidate in November
Donald J. Trump would be the weakest Republican presidential candidate to face off against Hillary Clinton in a general election matchup, according to a new poll that shows Senator Ted Cruz and Gov. John Kasich as stronger nominees against the Democratic front-runner.
According to a survey from Quinnipiac University, Mr. Trump continues to be the most popular candidate with Republican voters, but he trails Mrs. Clinton in a hypothetical matchup by a margin of six percentage points, 46 percent to 40 percent. The poll had a margin of error of plus or minus three percentage points.
Mr. Kasich, who has won only Ohio, his home state, so far, is the strongest against Mrs. Clinton, leading her by 8 points while Mr. Cruz trails Mrs. Clinton by 3 points.
The poll finds that Senator Bernie Sanders, who is also facing long odds in his race with Mrs. Clinton, would be the strongest Democratic candidate in matchups against Mr. Trump and Mr. Cruz, and he is essentially tied with Mr. Kasich.

In the last 48 hours we have had a consistent string of polls (these same polls that Trump has cited in the past) from Bloomberg/Fox/Washington Post/Monmouth/Emerson College/Quinnipiac, all pointing in one direction. That should Trump be the Republican nominee (God forbid!), conservatives should brace for a political Pearl Harbor. Hillary will finish the country off and then well have the Trumpkins, who gave us this snake-oil salesman, hunting for scapegoats for this debacle, blaming anybody and everybody but themselves for this horrendous nominee.
LOL
Give it up douchebag.
You should like the people publishing these polls.
Something to think about blowfish.
And yet Trump is beating the crap out of all the other candidates in vote counts. Perhaps you are being played by the msm.
Cruz can’t win Evangelicals against “NY Liberal” Trump. He’s never winning the general against a Dem. I don’t need a poll to know that. LOL.
Trump is the only candidate the Democrats and GOP Establishment fear.
Seriously...you’re at this again?
Okay, then why don’t you explain for us why Trump’s kicking Cruz’s A$$ thus far? Why don’t you further explain how a guy like Cruz, who can’t beat Trump, can beat Hillary?
Sorry, the but the desperation from you Cruz supporters is causing you to lose all ability to use reason and logic.
If Trump can’t win vs. Hillary, Cruz won’t stand a chance either.
Sure, Cruz will appeal to a similar segment of the population that found Santorum appealing last time around. And the rest of the base would grudgingly vote for Cruz. But he has no crossover appeal at all.

Trump used Dentene gum as a child, and 98% of women over 13 won’t vote for a guy like that... (film at eleven)
The communists are trying to write history as usual.
OMG here come the trumpeteers
Are you just throwing red meat out for grins tonight?
They are going to be more berserker than normal
I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it any longer.
He lost every state in the evangelical south.
EVERY STINKING ONE
Ted is politically a dead carp walking.
Trumpkins can’t think for themselves. We have their usual set responses.
A very recent NBC/Wall Street Journal poll shows that Trumps unfavorable rating with women is at about 70%. Another poll shows that nearly half (47%) of women polled cant see themselves casting a vote for Trump.
The Washington Examiner thread that was posted earlier show that in a Trump versus Clinton matchup 31 percent of women would vote for Trump, while 58 percent would choose Clinton.
We all know women make up 53% of the electorate and the vote of women is crucial in any election.
There is also the vote of the college educated.
A February Quinnipiac poll showed that the higher the education, the greater the turnout in voting among that class. Voters with a Bachelors or higher enjoy a turnout of 75% to 81%. Similarly, when those larger groups of educated voters are polled about Trump, he has the highest unfavorable rating of any candidate running, at 66%.
Little wonder, that Trump, after his Nevada win, said something to the effect of, I love the least uneducated.

ROFLMAO! :-D
Gosh, I guess we better follow the polls. Nobody ever uses those to CREATE opinion rather than measure it.
Hey, tell me about the polls in March of 1980 and about Jimmy Carter’s second term again??
Big fat hairy deal douchebag.
Trump rules.
