That's because the old MSM hid it from the general public and primary campaigns have NEVER been followed as closely as this one has been; especially Trump's rallies!

Trump, no matter WHAT you believe, didn't start this, he didn't lie about Teddy as Teddy always does about himself and/ or his actions, and you don't know any American political history; obviously.

LOL....

I don't have a FB account/page, I don't TWEET ( don't even know how to find TWITTER ), don't text, have NEVER taken a selfie, keep my cell phone locked down 99.5% of the year, and still write snail mail with a fountain pen. :-)

I match everything you said, right down to the fountain pen, and writing letters. Only difference is I don’t even have a cell-phone. And I still listen to a lot of old-time jazz records on a 90-year-old Victola!

Ted is a liar, liar! I am smarter than anybody else!!! I am more Christian than anybody else! I read the Bible more than anybody else!!! Just read Corinthians TWO!

You could see blood coming out of her wherever. “You know, it really doesn`t matter what [the media] write as long as you`ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass.”

“I don’t think Ivanka would do that, although she does have a very nice figure. I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.” “Women: You have to treat them like s—t.”

Your king is VERY Presidential, ain’t he?
“We won with poorly educated.

I love the poorly educated.” –Donald Trump on his performance with poorly educated voters who helped him win the Nevada Caucus, Feb. 23, 2016

Your king loves YOU.

Cagney was a sickly child. The tap dancing and later, boxing lessons, was to build him up; NOT so that he could engage in street fighting. Hell, he went to Styvesant, for crying out loud and then to Columbia! He was a song & dance man on Broadway, after his stink as a chorus boy. I'm NOT putting him down, just saying that you can't always believe a lot of old Hollywood tales. :-)

Neither was I putting down Raft, whom I have always enjoyed as an actor. But people's backgrounds were what they were!

They made "LADIES" out of street urchins, "bitches" out of THE nicest women ever, sexpot leading lady vamps out lesbians, and only a very very few people ever knew back then, or now; if they even know who we're talking about.

Men used to be men, now they are little boys in adult bodies, who have no manners, no intellect, far too much arrogance, and no patience. Also, they are a bunch of stupid wussies! Girls aren't any better and yes, though I am painting with a rather large brush, it is what it is.

Could you give me a few examples of conditions where people behave in extreme and unacceptable ways due to powerful feelings that can't be controlled that would be less offensive to you than child molester?

First of all, Carson was describing his temper as 'pathological', which by definition means that it is extreme, excessive, or markedly abnormal. Ben Carson revealed this as something that he had overcome in his life. It was a message of victory and hope for others who know someone dealing with this.

Donald Trump redefined 'pathological' to mean 'incurable' which is patently false. The whole point of Carson's revelation was to demonstrate that it is 'curable'.

As for the term 'pathological', the most common use is in describing an extreme, excessive, or markedly abnormal liar. Yet this did not fit the false narrative that Trump wanted to employ. He purposely brought up the child molester analogy in order to smear Carson, and then lied about it by saying that Carson had an incurable disease.

The irony here is that Trump himself is a pathological liar. Trump lies when telling the truth would actually be better. With Clinton and Obama, they lie about things that matter. Trump lies about things that don't. He simply can't help it.

I ONLY have a cell phone because I was nagged into getting one and it was for a good reason at that time. Why I still have one, is because when/IF we lose power, we have NO phone service...even with the generator going.

I wish I had a 90 year old Victrola, so that I could list to some 100 year old records I have, that were my grandmother's.

Trump, no matter WHAT you believe, didn't start this, he didn't lie about Teddy

Here is Trump's exact quote:
"Lyin' Ted Cruz just used a picture of Melania from a G.Q. shoot in his ad. Be careful, Lyin' Ted, or I will spill the beans on your wife!"

Ted Cruz had nothing to do with the picture. It wasn't his ad. Trump lied about Cruz's involvement.

Actually, we’re not that much in conflict over history as it might seem. I well know about Cagney’s pre-film ‘theater’ activities, as well as his sickliness. Truthfully, I don’t get much into the private lives of the vintage stars, being primarily a ‘film’ nut, not a ‘star’ nut. But over the years, getting to talk to dozens and dozens of old-time film folk, including some Warner fixtures like Mae Clarke, Helen Vinson and such, I’ve picked up my share of stories.

And sometimes these actors do have amazing histories of digging ditches, working in lumber mills and farms, and living in shacks and having to go to bed hungry. Things that most people wouldn’t expect of then-future famous ‘movie stars,’ from today’s perspectives. Some real tough cookies (and a few that contrarily had it real comfortable and easy, like rich guys Franchot Tone, Charles Starrett or Robert Stack). But the majority seemed to endure a lot of poverty and hardship on their way up. And sometimes it’s that hard-bitten, well-earned realism of living life that still comes through in all those old 35mm artifacts. Something which just isn’t present in modern fare and all its self-conscious calculations.

There are a dozen different ways Trump could have illustrated the 'pathological' application to Carson. Trump chose to go the child molester route.

Yeah, everybody know Kasich and the Anchor Baby are the child molesters.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply. The problem is that the definition you chose for pathological is not the medical definition. A pathological liar is a lay term for someone who can’t seem to stop lying. That is not an extreme and unacceptable behavior due to uncontrollable powerful feelings. Ben Carson was indeed trying to paint his anger problems more vividly in order to provide an impressive victory and make his life story compelling. I agree, that is how I interpret his use of a word that if true would paint a very different person.

That was really what Donald Trump was conveying. He discussed the mechanism described for the murderous attacks and how they were implausible as described, he then painted the picture of how abnormal true pathological anger is by comparing it to other behavior that results from feelings too strong to control.

Trump’s take home point was that the book was not a true depiction it was a fictionalized narrative, exaggerated to represent a more gripping tale and to glorify Ben Carson’s accomplishment. The surprising thing to many of us was that Ben Carson has real accomplishments to be proud of and a very compelling life story without the need for embellishment.

You are right to note the dichotomy between Carson overcoming his pathological anger and Trump noting pathological anger is not curable. That is another reason we know that Carson exaggerated his stories and used the word inexactly. True pathological anger is a mark of a severe underlying personality disorder and such disorders - narcissism, antisocial personality etc are not curable.

I do not agree with you that Trump lies habitually or even frequently. I have found him to be truthful. The MSM wants to spin him as a liar so they release snippets of his words out of context or in many cases lie outright about things he has said. I always go back to the source documents (you tube is a great help) and listen to the entire event. Trump is remarkably consistent on most subjects; to hear Trump now is to hear him in 1990. He has evolved on abortion and planned parenthood and that has been well covered and consistent with an honest man coming to an understanding of the precious nature of life, and in the case of Planned Parethood a man finding out he had been sold a lot of hoohah. Trump is a dealmaker and deals are made by having a general plan of attack and modifying as the deal takes shape, not telegraphing all of your assets and gambits. That is not dishonesty its called being a skilled negotiator.

I’m sorry to say this since I know you like Ted Cruz but so did I once. When I ran the same kind of background check on him it was with a very different result. Ted lies, fluently, frequently, flagrantly and fervently. The 4 F’s of liardom. It is very easy to document multiple instances and they made me lose all respect for the man.
So there you have it - have at it.

No, and in fact it appears that it was Ted’s campaign manager who requested the photo from GC magazine and provided it to the PAC. Whether that will prove to be true or not there is one thing that is clear.

Ted Cruz was involved because his campaign was mentioned by name in the ad. By not speaking against the ad and the tactics of attack ads aimed at family members he is condoning the tactic. Silence is assent.

Even when Trump was not responsible and wasn’t mentioned in the cartoon about Cruz’s daughters he denounced the attack on Cruz’s daughters. Too bad “moral Ted”, who is showing us the “Face of G*d” was not upright enough to do the same until Trump turned up the heat.
