Cruzers forget that ted bush himself said, “the responsibility of the campaign starts at the top.” Ted may not have approved that ad, but did nothing to stop it or condemn it. He is a total sleaze. I learned all I needed to about Cruz when I saw him have his daughters pray on camera for the optics. Total fake. Total sleaze - just like Obama.
No, it’s not what I’m saying. I’m saying they have to pretend to have nothing to do with the candidate they support. AND, it wasn’t unknown strangers, It was our elected politicians who wanted it that way. A SuperPac can spend tons of money but they can’t directly donate it to a candidate’s campaign, nor LET IT LOOK LIKE they have any ‘connection’ to the campaign. It’s just a way to let corporations donate but make it look like it’s not corporations donating.
If that is what your logical analysis is like we better leave it there. Trump was providing context for the word pathological as used by Carson who is a physician and would be expected to be using it accurately. Pathological anger is a specific entity and very serious, not curable and is associated with narcissism.
You describe a person or their behavior as pathological when they behave in an extreme and unacceptable way, and have very powerful feelings which they cannot control. This explains why Trump made the unfortunate reference to another condition where there are powerful feelings that the subject can’t control i.e. Pedophilia
I think Carson was being a writer not a physician when he wrote his book and using words for their effect not to be taken completely seriously.
So... do you want to change it back , or leave it as it is now ? Which candidate, in your opinion, will change it, which will leave it as is ?

I do abandon threads that turn into attack fests so that may be true. For me its about exchanging information, different points of view, correcting misinformation and gaining nuances from those differing viewpoints. When it gets to haranguing & insults I’m gone.

I am sure that is true about most politicians who are running for an office.
I don't think Trump would play that game. Sure... things happen and retakes occur, but I'm talking about faking the intimacy , and scripting everyone's words.
MSM needs to start providing free public service time for candidates. In fact they have 425 channels on TV now for those who still watch that garbage. Simply devote one channel for political commercials. Run it 24/7, and every candidate gets several commercials a day. Free, as a public service. Make it a requirement for networks when they apply for FCC licenses.
We need to dump the PACs. Free for all fraud, where corrupt corporate sponsors elect the candidates, is no way to run elections.
There are lots of creative ways to do this btw.

I think it needs changed back, there are also reforms in when congress meets, for how long, how much they get paid, and if they hold a job while in office that need to be implemented.
Well Hillary, and Kasich will do nothing to change it leaving it where it is. Bernie is a communist, I respect him a lot, he comes right out and tells you what he is. However he is a communist, meaning he will try and turn it into communist utopia.
Trump I just don’t know what he would do, he has no government record. Some say that this is a good thing, I look at it and say it is a bad because we don’t know. I think if we are going to trust the most powerful office to someone we better know how they will govern, or have some indication.
Cruz I think will do this, he has made mention of repealing every single one of Obama’s illegal EO’s. This tells me that he is already looking at what is constitutional, and leading me to believe that he will do the same as President.
Straw man. The only one of the candidates going after another’s wife is Trump...not to mention Carly Fiorina’s looks & Megan Kelly’s whatever. Cruz has no moral duty to go around tracking ads in which he has no involvement whatsoever. Trump’s actions, in general, show no moral compass & yet you seem ready to follow him. Where’s your morality now?
If you have some sort of code, it must be to ignore all that Trump has said & done over many years.
