They need to stop and think before they engage in dirty tricks. If the GOP establishment chooses to disenfranchise the will of the people it’s not going to be forgotten by a great deal of people. While the race for the nomination is 2/3 over, that 65% reflects delegate counts only. Some wins are from small state caucuses with a spartan number of voters. The bulk of the voting population base is yet to come. There are more registered voters in California than all republicans that have voted to date.

Look at the top delegate rich states:

California 172
New York....95
Pennsylv.....71
Indiana.......57
New Jersey..51

Then look at the populations they represent:
They represent around 15 million registered republicans.
They represent another 8-10 million registered independents.
They represent potentially a million cross-over democrats.

A handful of folks in ‘over represented states’ might not care and may seem insignificant to them. But what happens when the votes cast are double or triple the opponent into the megamillions? And Trump’s state delegation majorities are triple Cruz’s. And Trump has won 3 dozen or more states?

The GOPe would be fools to implement their desperate threats of attack.

If you don’t like Trump, why post stories like this? Let someone else do the ‘happy Trump’ stuff.

The will of ~35% of Republican primary voters constitutes the will of the people?

I despise that lyin’ yellow Donald Thug but if he has the required 1237 before Cleveland he had BETTER be the nominee then I can get good and drunk, pay someone to hold a gun to my grandson’s head and then order me to vote for the NYC SOB or else in November.

>>The Republican Party in particular risks starting a major rebellion if it tries to engineer a brokered convention in an effort to stop Trump

If Trump has the delegates - then Trump is the nominee.   Those are the rules that constitute the Republic, are they not?

Fascist? No. Trump is a reflection of the culture that created the vacuum he's filling - who OWNS that creature if not We the People?

If We don't like it, then let's change it through exercising good stewardship over the freedom, secured at great cost, that we've been entrusted with; by continuing to secure the right of each and every one of us to contradict the errors that occur in the American process.

The present cluster frack didn't get created over night.   It's going to take multiple generations of Americans to reform the Republic into its declared purpose: TO SECURE THESE RIGHTS.

You L.I.F.E.R dipshyte parasites perched on both wings of steps on the establishment temple who "need each other" to carry on gaming the system with bidness as usual:

GAME OVER take your heritage of  "black lists", shove them where the Sun don't shine, and go get a real job and produce something of value instead of just manufacturing suction on the bureaucratic politeat -- YOU'RE FIRED.

"AND THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE"

What Cruz faces now:

Trump will block Cruz from getting 1237 delegates, when he obtains only 105 more for himself.

More support statistics

“...The American People are angry....”

“Angry” is putting mildly.

Seething is more like it.

The Republican party has been ignoring the voices of its supporters for years. When its base formed the tea party to express its voice, the GOP collectively stuck its fingers in its ears, saying “na-na-na-I can’t hear you!”

Did they really think they could so blatantly ignore the will of the people without any backlash? Seriously?

The Republican party can choose to get on board with the people, or it can wither away and disappear. We can form a fresh new party, one that will hopefully remain free of the corruption of DC for a few decades.

He would not even commit to a common position endorsed by all the other candidates – which he would advocate that the putative capital of Israel be moved from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem.

Obviously Armstron has not been paying attention.

“Trump has issued a clarion call to discontented Americans, and they have responded en masse. His message has been blunt, crass and at times vulgar. And yet people like the way he is expressing their own anger. This has rankled the establishment because they see it as a major challenge to their own interests. Because Trump is not beholden to the status quo, he is unpredictable once in office. He may make decisions that go against entrenched interests. “

This is a real problem for the GOPe. That is why they are literally conspiring with major Hillary supporters even to stop Trump. Fine Republicans, who want to elect Hillary, just to keep Trump from becoming president.
